DDDs ILGM-MW-I-P Five Seeds dropped

Started new, separate topic for condensed reading.
My other (older) thread is RE-Veging a continous grow garden.

Seeds are not re-veger material is my thought.

10-30-2023 I dropped 5 ILGM MW-I-F-P seeds into water/h2o2.

11-1-2023 three of five have sunk and all five have cracked shell appearance.
11-1-2023 Solo cup with domes into flowering tent, with clones from summer.

11-2-2023 4 of 5 have emerged.
Two popped up, one helmet head leaning over and one horizontal to soil (emerging?).
Light mist given all five.

Waiting on #5 for 100% germination success.

@noddykitty1
two ILGM-MW-I-F-P (Maui Waui Indica-Photo seedlings available for trip to LaConner Friday 11-3-2023 If you can join for lunch). Other goodies too.

WE ARE, forum friends invited for the ride.
Separated from other thread, for more “focus”.

The sheep need it (or we sheep need it).
Coffee and good day to you, all

Sorry I cannot do this week. I have to work. Booked out in the south end. Going down to Bonney lake and tacoma. I will check with the boss (wifey) about next week.

We have busy schedules, no worries.
The trip never is the problem.
Wife’s shopping and store list freaks me out.
I am a Hunter, She is a gatherer and pro-shopper.
Seedling will keep and I will drop another crew of ILGM seeds for sharing.
They are known seeds, not my bag seeds.
Inventory management becoming stressful and confusing.
I am the only tester/taster, currently, but like Mike R, its a dirty job and somebody does it.
Before Christmas, they should still be short, for travel.
Another inch of rain makes the yard too wet to go check who’s swimming and who drowned.

Yeah, I’m sick of all this rain we’ve gotten, and it’s only just begun!

Heck yeah I’m along for the ride. Ive got 2 MW seedlings that just hit veg that i have Supercropped and FIMed. This will be interesting.
I thought MW was Sativa dominant though?

You are correct, 20/80 is for Indica/Sativa

Guessing at the code on the package, may not be the best plan.

The smoke is what matters to me.

Freed from helmet Head with light, spray of water.

4th seedling popped up, still upside-down.
Not pictured but assisted for righting up.
I got some ILGM Gold Leaf seeds awaiting refrigerator freedom, calling my name.

Friday Morning update 11-3-2023
5/5 emerged and standing 2 inches.
2/5 had helmet head (assisted removal) one had stuck “Sheathing” and the pair of cotyledons requires assistance removing so pair of leaves could go perpendicular.
One needed soil movement to rebury.

Dilemma, 24/0, 18/6 or 14/10?
Flowering Clones and two becoming revegers still occupy tent.

Good luck with these!

Curious as to how you place these in media and how much of tail they have when you do? If you plant husk down/tail up they shouldn’t pop with helmets or leaning.

You got me.
Busted, I am.
And you are correct.

@dbrn32 “Curious as to how you place these in media and how much of tail they have when you do? If you plant husk down/tail up they shouldn’t pop with helmets or leaning.”

Ever wanting to try different methods, I purposely “DARWIN-ed” them"., as in only the strong survive.
In my defense, Mother Nature gives no comfort and plays no favoritism or nepotism.
I placed the five seeds in water x2/1x H2O2 for 24 hours, then during second 24-hour period, placed 5 of 5 in moistened soil inside clear solo-cup inside red cup,
Soil was my mix(another experiment).
At that time, 4 of 5 were showing hull expansion towards splits, as in expanded white showing and clearly, no tails protruding, yet.
Not much control over placement direction after dirt covering and gentle finger acting.
Good for ILGM seeds and genetics, because that was the worst possible seedling germination launch I could have provided them.
I know better, but often, stubbornly, want to try different. Forum does teach better methods for germination launch than I utilized, for sure.

They have my full attention now.

Tonight I measured the 4x4 tent wattage draw. Fans were minimal.
HLG 350, 260, and UVA30 capable of drawing above 600 watts according to my Kil-a-watt meter device.
Tent occupied with “8” clones from summer (not all surviving or doing well).
Plus two re-vegers, and now the 5 Maui-W. Tent needs cull, and clean, soon.
Tent lighting hours and intensity, being increased daily (currently 13.5 ON/10.5 OFF).
Still below max light draw while heat issues present…
Clones with colas looking nice enough to grab and smoke, soon, get topped.
UT383BT LUX meter measured canopy area 50,60,70KLUX depending on clone top height.
HLG calculators for Diablo lighting above rated at 2.8/w
Time to call the night.
Good catch dbrn32!

Late add for above.
Grow tent 4x4 Filtered T6 is tent filtered exhaust utilized for tent exhaust, lung room clean-up, and lung room temperature modifying.
According to AC-Infinity, T6 step 2 is above 140CFM (4x4x6.5=104cuft).
140/104= above 1.0 x volume exchange per minute).

and that all is modified when considering ducting, filters, or distances.

Just trying to grow good weed.

Have you figured out the timing of your lighting? I watched a ton of utube yesterday and it seems that “they” think 24/0 is the way to go.

Of course people challenged that because there’s no resting time for the plants. I don’t know about that, but these people are supposed to be the experts.

Just food for thought…

I run my seedlings (1st 14 days ) 24/0. 18/6 after transplant through harvest on autos and 12/12 if their sharing a tent with photo periods in flower :love_you_gesture:

Not sure if clones in flower are Auto or photo.
Moving lighted hours up to 18/6 or possibly. currently on 14.5/10.5 off.
PNW Still raining and humidity is high.
I wrongly turned off the dehumid last night to keep temps down.
Lung room went from 65% to 75% (not good for hanging inventory).
Re measured leaf offset for VPD calibrating Cloudline Controllers.
In this high humidity, , with tent lights ON, OFFSET is -2F for tent air temp 75.5F.
Tonight lighting set for 15/9Off.

@OGIncognito, if it works for you, it will work for me!
Thank you.

Dehumidifier back ON, for sure.
