It’s too early to worry too much. Some planties are just late bloomers. Remember that kid in high school who was shorter than everyone else and then you see them 5 years later and they are 3 inches taller than you are? It happens. Plants looking healthy, that’s what matters.

It is your grow, you can do anything you want to do. If it doesn’t have the desired results, then you will know for next time.

My plants got white powdery mildew i discovered or maye its mold..

If anyone knows how to get rid of it please help.. more importantly how do i prevent it.. this is horrible make me never wanna grow again lol..

Yep, great advice in the video. Just as a side note, a 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 3 parts water in a spray bottle is a helpful all around disinfectant for that kind of stuff. But make small batches, it doesn’t last more than a day or so in the white/clear spray bottles. Also, before using/reusing your hydroton, it’s a good practice to put 2 cups of hydrogen peroxide in a 5-gallon bucket , fill 3/4 of the way with water, and soak your hydroton in it for a couple of hours to make sure that you don’t bring any cooties (that’s an old expression!) from one grow into the next one. I do that myself every time before using it. Hope that helps. Good luck.

If it was easy, everyone would do it. It may seem a little painful and induce a little anxiety, but that is how you gain experience and knowledge. You will get better with each grow, learn and try new things along your grow journey, and be a better grower at the end of the day. It’s how we all get through it. But, you have this great forum, and all the people in it, to help along the way. Think about how hard it was when all of this information and resources were not available to you by simply typing a few words into your computer. They didn’t cover any of these subjects in the old Encyclopedia Britannica, that’s for sure! (THAT ought to show my age…lol)

I cant tell you how excited i am about thier growth its ridiculous!! That tells me ive done everything correctly as far as nutrients, rockwool placement in the hydroton, water level within the reservoir.. germination went well in a vivosun humidity dome with heating pad at 80 went very well indeed.. i had light on for 24 hours for them once the first one popped..
I knew zero about growing just 2 months ago… nada, zilch i went to youtube university for about two weeks im focusing on yield so i looked up high yield and control and other things i wanted and cane up with not so much an entry level setup.. rdwc is comlicated everything about growing weed is complicated but yeah for sure hopefully it turns into muscle memory.. this technology is interesting.. and i can be away from home for two weeks and not worry…
My aim is to get half a pound per plant.. we will see.. after that im shooting for the whole P..

I dont have time today or tomorrow to deal with this mold issue so hopefully it doesnt get much worst.. ive lowered my humidity about 60%
Im trying my best to keep humidity in this range.. but id like to have a lower temp.. its always lingering around 80 but never over it. I hope they good with 75 for the rest of they life cause i cant bring it much lower..
Might be considering getting an air conditioner if this white powdery stuff becomes an issue.. i feel like temperature is a big factor..
I keep mine between 78 - 85 F. You really don’t want it much lower than 80.
The water temperature is another story. I grow in soil so I am certain of the best temperature range for the water.
My damn jaw dropped when i thought about water temp… its probably 2degrees lower than my tent at all times .. you think this playes a major role in the dew dew

Imma rub down with the peroxide for the dewdew. I put peroxide in my res water but probably not enough.. i supposed it did help because i know it could be worst @ 18 days into grow..
im still looking at the salt buildup and how to manage that..tho.. sound like i need to rinse those off with peroxide too and it may work..
I don’t have any experience the hydroponic growing. I only know what I have read on the forum. They discuss keeping the water temperature in the proper range for the plants health and to minimize risk of slimy growth and whatnot.
