Curing buds in the fridge

Can you cure in the fridge after drying? Buds in glass container.

it just takes a little longer, which brings a little risk longer exposure to any humidity that’s still there. Id want to check with a moisture meter first

Id be affraid the weed would pick up whatever smells present in the fridge, leftover casseroles for example.

The typical humidity in a running fridge is <20%. Proper curing needs RH around 60%.

there is an old thread about this somewhere…
I will look for it

I wouldn’t cure in the refrigerator but I would store in the freezer. And do. I’ve smoked four year old flower that was as fresh as the day I put it in the freezer. Potency will decrease over time but frankly these hybridized strains are so potent anyway that I couldn’t tell the difference.

I tried it years ago and it worked but took forever. Another thing was alot of terps seemed to go away like it lost its smell in the bag. It still tasted and smelled right when smoked, but it had kind of a refridgerator smell to it in the bag like tap water tastes when you refridgerate it

Yeh, I think I’ll stay away from that.

Ya i abandoned that experiment years ago
