Confused on technique

here’s the gals at 12 wks and 6wks flower. i gave nutes yesterday. figure that’s the last feeding. i think about 2 wks for one of the plants and maybe a little longer for the other. yeah i clipped the leaves a little at a time. i also took a lot of buds from underneath off. the top is opened up fairly good to the bottom buds. i did run out of the big bloom nutes about a month ago. thought i ordered some but the tiger bloom was shipped. kept forgetting to order until last week. but anyway here’s some pics.

Looking good Grow Bro, personally I would feed them for a few more weeks. They look to have about 4 or more weeks left and hate to see them struggle in peak weeks for bud fattening :love_you_gesture:

will do. wasn’t really sure when they would be ready. but that sounds right. thank you.

@LiesGrows @DoneDeal @Myfriendis410 @ChittyChittyBangin @OGIncognito some pics taken yesterday. the royal gorilla is looking better than the amnesia haze now. trichomes are frosting up good. looking almost ready for ass kicking weed. don’t know how to calculate when to harvest for kick back weed, the amber color in the trichomes. the buds really fattened up also.

Right on Grow Bro and looking like some solid buds. I’m not much of an amber dude. All milky or little amber works for me. I go more off the strain type when it comes to looking for a buzz affect. Basically rather than letting one go 20 or 30% amber to get a sedated affect a good Indica with all milky trichomes works for me :love_you_gesture:

You might start thinking about doing some leaf thinning in preparation for harvest…

that’s more or less how i figure it. i been harvesting at mostly milky trichomes. i tried blue dreams for it’s mild effect. i’ll check out indica. i usually forget what the strain is after i order.

yeah i been pulling them off pretty regular. and trying to get the buds off that don’t look like they will be good.

Northern lights is a great Indica dominant strain, hearty and very easy to grow :love_you_gesture:

@ChittyChittyBangin @DoneDeal @LiesGrows @MartyMarajuanaseed @Storm @OGIncognito i do believe these are ready to go. very little clear trichomes left. buds really have a frosted look. looks like some amber starting on trichomes. today or tomorrow, i think i’m gunna cut them down.

@MartyMarajuanaseed @DoneDeal @ChittyChittyBangin @Storm a look at my new grow. started 2 days ago. planted a sour diesel and purple kush. had a very good harvest, over a 1/4 lb of bud and 3/4 oz of sugar leaves. instead of getting northern lights seeds i ran into a sale of purple kush. 100% indica.

And the fun begins! Keep your light at 200 ppfd and keeping them humid and warm is the ticket. The more moisture you can get on they’re leaves the better. Keep them as short as possible. If you see them stretching turn up the light.

Good luck on new run

don’t understand the ppfd. as i’m growing in a small closet, i have little control of humidity and temp. i put a coffee can of water in with them as the only control and i can keep it only as warm as i can handle. with the light, i move it up and down trying to find the sweet spot. and i also play with the intensity to try and see when it causes the leaves to burn. anyway the harvest has gotten bigger. thanks for the input.
