Defoliate? Help!

1st time doing trying lst, not sure if I’m even doing it right :joy: I hate these plant clips and next time probably gonna go with tie down.
( 1st question ) does she look good training wise ? Any suggestions appreciated
(2nd question) should I defoliate , I keep getting different answers from google. Some say don’t cause it decreases yield and some say the complete opposite so I’m at a loss

She’s an Autoflower 34 days old

Ok so should be going into flower soon… i would take off anything blocking a bud site… then defoiliate again after the stretch

Nice looking plant, OK start with cleaning up around the bottom of the plant closest to the soil , And I think plant Will be good. That will also make watering much easier. Anything touching the soil needs to go.
Good luck :v:

Thank you! Nothing is touching the soil, I’ve positioned each leaf individually to hold onto the rim lol, very ocd. Some of the bigger ones are slightly (not entirely) blocking lower growth sites so I’d like to remove them but only if it’s not gonna affect my yield

So all this talk about cutting fan leaves decreasing yield is wrong ? Cause I see a lot of people lollypopying but is that just for photos?

I can cut anything blocking bud sites or touching the dirt and be fine

Yeah bro defo because you can get those colas to grow evenly giving better big bud build up.

Okay sounds good , I heard if she’s growing vigorously it’s okay which she is

Go for it , the plant will be fine and it will not affect the yield.

You got it , We like to see everybody have a successful grow. Cannabis plants are actually pretty tough . They will bounce back from about anything except burning them up with nutes.
