Ok haha  two 260s then?

Returned my Growers Choice Roie720 :sob: and selling off my 4x4 haha that was short lived! The 4x4 and light were just too big for my current living situation which totally sucks but whatever I’ll re order that light when I move in 6months and am ready to have multiple tents. This is the new project!

It’s 25”x45”x78” Gonna strip her bare and drill few holes add couple vents at bottom and add some reflective material? I ordered an HLG 350 rspec and I’m gonna order one of the HLG UV bars too. Gonna install my AC infinity carbon filter on the inside and the fan outside. Any suggestions? Anyone think it’s a bad idea? Any comments? Haha it’s smaller than I want but once I move I’ll upgrade again. @dbrn32 @Sincitytoker @PharmerBob @Nicky @pr @Covertgrower @Axemanjake23

I personally think it’s awesome when growers are resourceful such as this. It’s my kind of growing. Covert.

I have an image of the light gleaming through the crack and someone asking whats that. Oh just my super bright tv. Never mind that. Anyways. Looks cool and a fun build. Thanks for the tag too

Yes good point gonna have to make sure everything is sealed off good. Was gonna do that also for smell reasons though seal everything.

It’s sad but will be a fun project.
Hole on one side (say bottom left) other hole on top right for exhaust. Unless you can put it right in front of a window and then it would be more stealth.
You’ll need some universal weatherstripping.
Paint white not reflective.

Ok that’s what I was wondering reflective or paint. Ok so white any white or? And yes it will be almost directly in front of the window. So I know you were using as example but the hole on bottom left your saying could be for fresh air intake? And have my filter hanging top right with duct running out to the fan mounted on window the duct from fan to window? Or am I missing something there is a better way to do it? @Nicky

I probably would have built a light for it instead of buying 350r. Probably wouldn’t have been a lot cheaper, but you could have made very diffuse light and run a lot closer to canopy.

Definitely looks like fun though!

That’s going to be one cool undercover grow box lol.
That’s going to be a fun project.
Good luck

White, like bright nice normal flat white, not high gloss.

You got the setup nailed, exactly how I was thinking. Your gonna get light leaks though so that’s why I said weather stripping. You’ll figure it all out though it will take some time effort and runs to the store.

My question about these types of grows is always why though? Because the fan will give it away will it not? (noise)

This stuff I used on that outdoor blackout box contraption I had. Outdoor as a male was out there as a science project. But get the wide stuff for yours ID say.

@dbrn32 My 350 R hasn’t actually been shipped to me and won’t be until they receive my roi e-720 back. I’m definitely interested! What are you talking about building a quantum board? Through pacific light? And what will the end results for watts/efficacy look like? I definitely need something I can run nice and tight close to the canopy in a space like this.

@Nicky ok word thanks man for confirming that haha and the reason for the disguised grow box is I do have maintenance people that come in and check the fire alarms and windows etc like twice a year so I just can’t have a huge Mylar tent in my living room haha. This way it atleast looks like an entertainment/armoire center. I’ll get a portable AC or regular fan and plug it in by the tent whenever they plan on checking something or have my TV turned up haha so they won’t even notice the fan noise in there hopefully :man_shrugging:t3:

Thanks @pr yeah I’ll definitely look into the foam window seal.

If you build you could use whatever you want and build as efficiently as you want. Would just be a matter of how big of light you want and how much you can spend.

@dbrn32 I want to max out my 2x4x6 space with light to the point where it’s almost too much light but not like way too much power. I can spend up to a grand on my lighting. I would like to save some of it but willing to put all I have into this so I can produce dispensary quality nugget and stop paying these prices. I know the lights only part of that I have to get t my environment and grow technique down and learn what the plants want. Where would I look to start building a light for 2x4x6

Chilled tech growcraft strips are available in 40" length. 3 of them would fit nicely on hlg-320h-c2100a driver.
