Grow 2 Preparation

Just finishing off my first grow. Organic in soil, 7 gal fabric pots in a 4x4 tent with a 600w HPS.
Next grow I am debating a better light but I will definitely be going coco and probably in an auto pot as this time I underwatered and managed to kill two of my babies :smiling_face_with_tear:.
Jack’s though! Can’t seem to get that over here. Anyone else UK based that can point me in the right direction please. Google not very helpful!
Thanks all

Check and see if you can buy Greenleafnutrients products. They have one called Mega Crop 2 part. It is recently added and its a copy of Jacks system.

Also there are eBay and Amazon sellers who buy in bulk and sell smaller kits. They are priced well. Should be able to ship to you.

Nope. Seems we can only get hold of the part one!
Anyone use the Advanced Nutrients line please?

I use Advanced nutrients

Hi @Lostgirl
Thanks for dropping by.
There seems to be lots of different bottles, combinations etc. Can you simplify it for me please? What do you use?
Thanks

Yes you’re correct, there’s a ton of it. First thing if you grow in soil you would use their soil nutrients. If you’re growing in Coco they now have a specific line for Coco.

I suggest simplifying the grow with a bare minimum of just what you need and not a lot of BS.

Advanced has a lot of nutrients the most important thing is their pH perfect base nutrients. There’s two ways to get that there’s a A and B connoisseur line. There’s also a micro grow bloom three part line.

Once you select from the two (I use the micro grow bloom) there’s a vitamin nutrient called B-52 this stuff works fantastic and it’s a must have.

Then I highly suggest if you’re growing in soil that you need something for your microbial life and that’s where Voodoo juice comes in. It does wonders for the microbial life supporting your roots.

With microbial life you’ll need to feed the microbial life that’s where Bud Candy comes in. It’s like an entire smorgasbord for your microbial life.

Last you’ll need a product called BIG BUDS you would start using this after the stretch. Through flowering your plants are going to consume a ton of potassium and phosphate. BIG BUD replaces potassium & phosphate perfectly when you use this directed.

In my opinion that would be my starter kit. Everything in bold above would be sufficient for your grow both photos or autoflowers.

Of course you’ll need your regular source of calcium magnesium (I don’t recommend advanced nutrients for this) I use general hydroponics colmagic.

There’s a lot of nutrients that they sell that I found not so effective. But anything that I’ve listed above is by far top shelf for what you’re doing

I hope this helps

IMO, it’s hard to beat organic. I just finished a gelato and had the most dense, dankest buds, and largest yield for one plant I’ve ever grown. But I’ve never tried coco.
