Hi All, is anyone using companion plants like basil, marigolds, or others to help deter pests? If so, what are you using and are you putting them in the same media as your plants or in posts next to them?

Mint works as well to keep some pests away.

Rosemary works to help keep mites out, they hate the smell.

Thanks, should I plant in the same container or just put them in a pot next to the plant? We use 45 gallon cloth pots. I just don’t want my plant fighting for root space later in the season…

I keep them in separate pots so I can move them around if I need them somewhere else.
