Closet Ok To Use For Dry?

My autoflowers that are in the flowering stage are starting to take bud form and I’m planning on where they are going to dry once finished. My closet is about 2x6 and I’m getting an average of 70 degrees with 60% - 65% humidity. I do plan on adding a portable AC in there to keep the temperature 60 - 70 and a fan so it has some air circulation. Does that seem like an optimal place to dry?

As long as the fan is only for air exchange. There should be no airflow directly on the buds. my buds dry 68-75.;not sure how much a lower temp will help, might. Exhaust is control for humidity. Drying buds wick moisture. Humidity stays between 58%-62%

Yeah for the fan I was going to have it blowing the opposite way of the drying buds. Wasn’t sure if the room had to have any air flow in it since it’ll be in a closed closet with the bottom blocked so no light gets in. The AC I bought is a AC / Dehumidifier so if I’m struggling with the humidity I’ll switch it to dehumidifier mode because I average around 70 degrees, but the humidity can get as high as 66%. Not sure if on AC mode will help with the humidity.

Ac will both dehumidify and cool if vented correctly. The just dehumidifier function by itself will create heat though. Why my lung gets hot at night.

Good to know! I didn’t think the ac would do both things. That’s great to hear, thank you!
