I have quite a bit of material here.
I could even strip all the diodes off the boards, as they’re aluminum, too.
Maybe build a little stand off for the drivers to mount to?
edit: thank goodness for these pictures…couldn’t find my lighter

Not super concerned about adjusting. Figure once it’s set, it’ll stay there, but wouldn’t want to paint myself into a corner by double-sided taping/mounting over the adjustment point.
Lmao lighters fall into the worst spots or are juust over under feild of veiw … Its not u man its alot to take in if your not electricly inclined which i wasent prior to first light being built @dbrn32 musta damn near hated me when i was bouncing every idea and plan on his diy thread …drawings drivers strips… I really didnt have a budget and had an investor i think at 16 heat sinks (1 double row per sink) and 16 double rows put me juuust under the bulk deal if i rememeber corectly … Same thing with drivers i went with digi key …and im glad i did becausd i had 16 strips 1 was bad and thry next day shipped me a new one at 50+$ each i think alibaba…good luck
Haha, right? Thank you if I haven’t said that, @dbrn32. You rock, man, for real. Also, on the heatsinks, worst case, there’s always the closet door track that isn’t doing much but moral support for the carpet
I don’t remember if menards is that far southwest, but these are the slat wall supports i was talking about. $3 for 48", and would work for what you are doing.
But I could then cut a square out of the hood I have, drill holes in either end of those heatsink strips to mount them across said hole. Then I can use the heatsink material I have for the strips currently in that hood, in the veg space in the closet.
Also:
Sounds like it would work. You could probably just mount the heatsink to top of hood you have with some thermal paste and avoid cutting the holes too.
That would probably keep it more rigid, too, which is already somewhat of an issue. It’s fine once it’s positioned, but pretty floppy getting it there. Cutting a hole would amplify that.
I fixed the rigidity before i made it floppy( first thought about wood) LOL the aluminum hestsinks from heatsinkusa are hella strong and it made to steel end bars that are L-shaped flipped 180° so when you lay it on the ground the diodes cant hit the floor …they can hit something in the way tho which i did …you cant blame me the light measured 47" x 24" and has a hlg 480 2100 … There not the lightest driver …steel braided cable measured and crimped to eye bolts that i through bolted on ends (was pretty self leveling) with climbers clasp that easily attaches to a skyhook(the rachet clasps)
Is eddie murphy still alive?
TF the I look like, Google?
I don’t know, but I’m delirious and my girl wants to party…ALL the time.
Oh, that’s just a meme, I don’t think that’s Eddie Murphy. But now you’ve got me questioning it.
No, I haven’t seen one that big before (that’s what she said). And I’m kinda high so it’s pretty funny! I don’t get it, what’s the staple for? That looks like an in ground pool, judging by the tile. Is that just rebar? I’m so confused and now I have to know lol
Yea just rebar the pool has a crack in it so i put new rebar reinforcing the crack so it dosent crack again in same spot once leak is fixed …it usually cracks because the rebar has roted out or the ground shifts tree roots ive seens some funny stuff
Essence had messed up my delivery order, didn’t throw in my wax and it looked like they charged me so we went up there, they didn’t charge me but ended up giving me a PreRoll and sold me the wax that was supposed to be brought earlier.
The Stracciatella Gelato is some fire super terpy Deliciousness
Nice. It’s about time Desert Grown Farms re-upped. We ended up getting mostly indicas this week. I mean, I’ve been sleeping good!
The lil sweater is edible? Lol
@Dr.DankThumb420 that looks exquisite
