Cheddar cheese grow daily diary

Here’s the daily update growmies. The twisting seems to have stopped since I swapped spots. The a/c hasn’t been running as hard at night since it’s getting cooler. I think the sudden temp drop (7-8 degrees in an hour) and cold air near the air intake was causing it. The girls are 3 weeks old tomorrow. I’ll get the new nute solution ready tonight

Morning growmies! A couple of the older leaves are burning at the edges. Turned down the light a little. Maybe I should ease them into the light increases?

morning Joe…I kinda saw this starting a couple days ago…it could be light stress but I don’t think 30DLI is too much at this stage…it also kinda looks like a potassium deficiency but I know my formula should not cause this…might be wind damage or just plain too hot in the tent…just no real answer for you but some things to look at closer…

Been a couple days since my last update. Went out of town. The girls didn’t like me being gone. The water temp climbed to 75. When I got back last night, they were droopy from the lack of oxygen at the higher temp. Cooled the water last night and they seem to have stood back up. The burn on the edges seems to be continuing though….

morning Joe… I would cut those leaves off as they will just continue to die… in my grows I have gotten some leaf issues because I believe they grow so fast … I can see all your new growth is looking good so she is doing just fine and is growing into herself…

Morning growmies. Something seems to be off. pH down to 5.4 and the burn continues….

not sure what to tell you… if you have followed my advice you should not have this issue…

Made a new, stronger nute solution today. They look like they’re starving for some reason. Now 1000-1050 TDS and 6pH. Used 3 gal Water 140TDS pH7.6, 7.5ml Armor 170TDS, 7.5 CaMg 360TDS, 15 Micro 690TDS, 15 Grow 870TDS, 15 Bloom 1000/1050TDS. Adjust pH 6 and then added 7.5 Hydroguard

Pretty sure the girls have root rot. The roots are all knotted up. Think I carried it over from the previous grow via an airstone or the tubing, despite using hydroguard. Starting over with new airstones, tubing and a thorough cleaning. Here’s some pics of the roots…
