I don’t have any clones but am curious and seeking knowlage can you clone a clone or is that some game of thrones incest breeding shit
It’s actually BrundleFly replication sh!t.
Assume you already know the answer to your Q.
What’s brundle fly replication?
Yes you may
You can clone a clone, but it can also start to lead to problems down the road genetics wise of you keep grabbing a clone once a plant is grown, ie a clone of a clone of a clone of a clone. The genetics change and traits that were dormant can become active and change the entire plant, mainly the traits that they tried to breed out for the good ones to come through can take over. At least this is what I have found from all my research on cloning.
You can clone a clone, and it works well, but in my experience, after cloning about the 5th time, you start to get diminishing returns. Could be a pheno, could be genetics, make it what you want, but it can be done. Your results may vary.
I have only done 3 generations and they don’t seem as robust as the mother, 1st or even 2nd gen. If you have a good one, keeping the mother is the way to go.
Yep. I’m currently running a plant that is a clone from a clone. I’m taking clones from her and will take clones from them. I’m also doing reveg of several clones. I will probably take clones from them.
Just find a pheno you like, clone it, and turn that clone into a mother. You can grow from a mom for many, many grows.
That seems more logical
After u have grown that clone into a big beautiful plant yes u can clone a clone
Check out monster cropping it’s exactly that…
Taking a clone from a flowering plant to then do the same with when it’s in flower.
I’d assume they wouldn’t keep mother plants in this process and just continue linage by cloning the last flowering clone
There’s no wrong way to grow, unless your not growing
