Can "un-rinsed" perlite damage an autoflower?

I just planted a few auto blueberries recently and added my own perlite for the first time. I have never dealt with perlite before and somehow did not read anything about how it needs to be rinsed off before hand. Its your standard miracle gro perlite, and there is nothing on the back of the bag that says it needs to be rinsed. But you can clearly tell that it looks a little dirty when you first water it without it being rinsed. I have a couple 1 week old autos each in 3.5 gallon pots using about 20% perlite in each. Do I need to be worried at all if I did not rinse the perlite?

Nope, I wouldn’t be worried. But if you are worried, you could flush the soil just to make sure!

Actually I didn’t buy miracle-gro perlite because it contains time release or slow release fertilizer. Standard perlite doesn’t.

Need to check your runoff TDS ppm to be safe.

No need to be worried but something to watch.
