That is an excellent question. I’m afraid I don’t know the answer. Maybe someone else we chime in that knows. :v::blush:

Thank you for the tag Flitme but my ignorance is in full view on this one, I don’t do any cooking… I believe that @Graysin @TT @Caligurl are all cooks

Great question, following because I’m curious!

My gut tells me yes, seeing as fresh and uncured bud is used in an assortment of applications, including pressing into concentrates.

Cure just enhances the terpene profile and helps improve taste by the elimination of compounds such as ammonia and chlorophyll through natural biological processes — it is, however, completely optional.

The moment your trichomes are all cloudy, you’ve reached the highest THC content your plant will achieve — every single second that passes after you harvest, THC is technically beginning to degrade on a molecular level.

Yep. Sure can. I frequently use uncured larf and trim for edibles. I just take it off the plant and throw it in the freezer til I have enough to decarb in the oven. :v:

You can, just expect your oil will be green and taste a lil green too.

Yes you can. Can dry and decarb in oven 5 seconds after you chop.

Wait so hiw long does larf and small buds stay in freezer after i chop from plant?? @Caligurl @Storm @Graysin @Docnraq

It doesn’t have to stay there, I just freeze it til I get enough.

If you have enough trim and larf for your purposes, you can cut it off the plant and go straight into the oven.

All good stuff above. :100:
The cure is really only to enhance the smell and taste of bud. It took me quite a while before I had enough stash to “cure” any at all. I was smoking it as fast as it dried. LOL
Happy birthday @Graysin :tada:

Break it up a bit if you can so the pieces are sorta uniform - also use the biggest baking tray you’ve got. One even layer that isn’t too deep will help get even coverage for the heat. Toss em around halfway through, too. :v:

Thanks @HMGRWN :100::tada:
