Yes you can clone from a flowering plant if its autos @garrigan62 is your man, if its photoperiod plants him or I as well as other members will be happy to help along the way.
Ps if photoperiod you can clone from the time they start flower till harvest time

It’s called, “monster cropping” and it’s a commonly used technique by growers to take clones while the plant is in its 2nd to 3rd week of flowering. Anytime after is harder to get the plant back to vegetative growth.
