I was actually checking my trichomes and noticed these brown pods. I don’t think I’ve noticed them before and they haven’t been there for too long. I thought they were bugs, but they’re attached and can be pulled off easily.

Google picture search says scale insect and or fruit insect. Looks freaking strange what ever it is.

Definitely looks like scale. I haven’t tried it on cannabis, but on all other plants, I use a little dish soap slightly diluted with water, dip my finger tips in it, then gently rub it on the plant to remove it. Scale needs to be removed though, might be helpful to ask for other opinions.
