On that website you can buy anything from comes with a four pH and a seven pH or a four and a 10 for the blue lab meters. You can use either a seven or a 10 but you have to have four something to think about.

I do a 3pt calibration every few weeks. I use the Apera solutions. 10.01, 7.0, 4.0. I also change my storage solution every week or two.

My Bluelab hasn’t moved out of calibration since I bought it. Three years now. When I first started I had no idea how to maintain one. Now that I do it’s been very reliable.

I thought mine was good for a while and then I calibrated it and realized it was not

My apera bolds true it seems forever. I calibrate once at beginning of grow. Thats it. Each time i check following year it may be off by .2 at most. Im a apera lifer.

I have to say, I really like my Blue -lab! Calibration is so easy. I do cal every month, it’s usually good, but why take a chance? Right!?

Yup. the Apera 60 confirms my Apera 20.
Calibrate monthly.
Use, Clean & store daily.
Accurate readings are important.

Glad this is here. How come mine calibrates straight to the 4, but will not go down far enough for the 7? Ever. And my good one the wire cane apart on and is now no good. I will be buying a good good one, well a as good as 100 bucks will get me, in 6 weeks, but this not hitting the 7 is bothering me quite a lot. Thanks. Oh yeah, I’ve tried 2 different brands of solution.

I had similar problems with the cheap pens.
Couldn’t get calibration cycle to complete and pens not to error.
Apera 20 or 60, calibrate well with bottled standard solutions 4.0 and then 7.
Cleaning and storage solutions read 2.2PH.
