Bugs eating on the leaves

Checking on my plants this morning I see some type of pest has been taking a taste!:rage:
Can someone give me recommendations on what to put on them?
They are outside.

Appreciate any advice~

I didn’t see anything under the leaves but yes there were several spider webs on them. I tried to remove them but obviously missed that one. Good eye :eye: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. I am trying to find Jacks 321 to order and sent an email to them so I will include their bug stuff also. Thanks for responding!!!

Also pick up some up this and sprinkle on the soil around the base of your plant. Remember to reapply after watering and the soil has has a few hours for a thin layer on top to dry out. @Mountaintime

Do you ever see slugs around.? That looks like the specific damage small baby slugs do when they find a plant. Check by looking an hour after dark. They usually crawl out of their holes by then. It’s worth a look because the slugs are about the only thing that doesn’t mind a mist of captain jacks before dinner.

@noddykitty1 - yes we do have slugs up here… I will definitely check to see if they are the culprits. Thanks for letting me know what to look for.

If it is slugs?
A shallow container with some beer (1-2cm) in it will help control them.

They go for a drink, get drunk and drown.

Where I live near seattle the slugs will eat your kids and your dog after they eat your plants. Ha. The problem with beer is you are like the hungry guy on naked and afraid waiting for his figure 4 trap to go off. Or it rains all day and it rinses out. Personally I would just use the force like Jedi mind trick “rabbit you want to walk into my trap now”….

All joking aside, dilute ammonia will make those slugs dance. Like if you all ready see them on your plants and they missed the beer trap. Or there is an army of hatchling slugs coming out of the ground like a legion of devil zombies. That always happens after the first rains. When that happens I reach for my trusty ammonia jug.

One shot glass of household cleaner ammonia to a 1000ml spray bottle. I drop off dish or horticulture soap to make it stick. No more slugs. Also very effective at killing PM on outdoor ladies. It has an alkaline PH like milk and baking soda.
