I use Dr. Earth Final Stop Rose & Flower insect killer. I spray it around the outside of the base of the pots and the edge of the garden once a week. I do not spray it directly on the plants.

8 spray

Capitan Jacks
Loat Coast Plant Therapy
Diatomaceous earth
Ladybugs, (you can buy by the 1,000’s)

Try not to use sprays in flower. Rotate brands sometimes the bugs get a resistance.

Treated my garden this year with 8 havent seen any leaf hoppers, or other bugs since. Might spray one more time before flower.

For the first time I’m using anything I’m using purecrop1 and B.T. I had to do something every year (I’m outdoor) I get invaded by Caterpillars…they’ve decimated my plants some years more then others Noticed @Derf02368 has Marigolds…Yes!..

I have been doing indoor and outdoor due to extreme heat in the south but thinking about putting them outside for good.

I have this. Its not food grade. Is that ok?

Regarding spraying for bugs - Capt Jacks Deadbug is fine to use if it i s necessary due to an infestation. Neem oil should be avoided during flower.

I like to use PureCrop1 on a regular basis simply as a preventative measure. Our plants love it!!

Captain Jacks is also a good choice along with Safer bend garden soap for more of an outbreak infestation type situation.

When you have an outbreak make sure to use the product for three consecutive days. This will help eliminate all stages of pests.

We also like to add ladybugs to the garden. These little critters are a great addition and can help reduce many many bugs.

Happy farming…

my plants are nice and green but im getting little pin holes in the middle of my leaves and i dont now why can someone please help me its my first time growing

here are some pics so u can see and try to give me a reason why

Think food grade is what is recommended

I read tomato plants do the same.

Really? That explains why I don’t have seem to have a bug problem on the girls.

They’ve got a row of tomato plants next to them.

Unfortunately does nothing for mosquitoes.
