Looks good budz. I’ve started leaving my exposed roots. They bulk up and turn green like the stalk.
Btw
I finally get the numbers reference! Lol.
Also looked at that machine in the video a couple times… Really cool!

Heard today we are considering using a buff jack motor to replace the current drive. Because even if I do fix the old sundstrand they all leak oil like a sive. Since the hydraulic res is open and the oil travels through the air in it’s cycle. Which I understand. It is a very smooth, hard to chatter drive system. For the 40s… but both the electric motor and hydraulic pump can be replaced with only one smaller motor of today. Won’t be as chatter resistant. But chatter is operator error anyway. If I’m operating I don’t need it. Lol.
All my chips are about 3/8th" long in a spiral (perfect cuts)
The baldor would be a lot sturdier though. Best bet.
So rip out both components of the sundstrand drive and replace it with one modern 10hp baldor. Which takes less space than either of the original components. All of the threading, auto feed and tapering functions run off gears from the spindle head. So a different drive can’t affect them. Since they are always in sync with the spindle. So the motor just needs to spin the spindle drive pulley. VFD for ramping. So no more nautical wheel to adjust speed. Buttons on a VFD instead.
That’s good 2 now my toxic Weekend started showing some roots today after transplant I was gonna add more soil. Idk but those roots weren’t there last night when I transplanted
But they also no longer uptake once they are hardened off. Just like any stalk you burry will grow roots (clones). Plus when people bonsai over rocks.
So yeah. They’re fine to show. But they are no longer roots.
Wow that’s interesting
I shared a video of how it’s done awhile back. Have to take an established root ball. Remove and rinse away the medium. Drape it over. Then use a soil paste to cover the roots and rock down to the new medium. Wait a couple weeks with careful watering. then slowly ( over days/weeks) wash away the dirt covering your masterpiece.
This method does the cover to avoid having to water.
That’s like the 1s I see on ig over crystals. Do they even yield nice?
The ones I’ve seen over crystals look like some nice yields. Well the one. Singular. But my estimate is that it wasn’t flipped for over a year. Ofc they will yield with enough time and medium under the rock/gem. But it’s like mainlining. It’s only for the bragging rights. Anyone going for most yield in a years time would never waste time with either. Unless for some reason they where misinformed. I’ll harvest atleast 12 plants this year. Three of those grows with only one plant. 7,1,1,2,1
Normally I don’t think so much. But it’s what she said she wanted. Who am I to refuse a Skywalker? First picture was after push overs for check up/my version of LST come flower
Unless I throw clips at transition wake up.
I turn the plants when pruning. So she didn’t land in same position. But close enough.
This was actually my brothers idea. Which I’m beginning to test. Here in these bottles we have concentrated part A with ms (epsom) in bottle 1 (amber color, all from jacks part A) and part b in bottle 2 (almost clear). Both these concentrates are mixed into 0-3ppm water. Dumped 11g part A and 3.5g MS (magnesium sulfate/epsom salt). Then second bottle 7g part B. Definitely faster/easier and more guaranteed way to pre-mix. Method often used for other applications. Don’t see why it won’t here. And should save me a little time. Will make a couple batches and record storage times as well. If they store fine as a liquid concentrate I’ll probably make up large batches like these. Each for 3.33 gallons.
Here we are. Next day. And the part A’s have brightened. Pink lid the one with no salt. Gonna use the right two at this time and see if they sit normal. Since it’s all my normal ratio.
Smack dab on it.
The water was also filtered yesterday. Hence why it’s hot from sitting on the dehumidifier.
Oh. You can see the line in my bucket there. That’s 3 gallons.
Continued Jedi training. She’s almost ready to go on her own.
Can’t wait!
She’s doing the same as the blue dream. As expected… already doubled in height.
Didn’t want to leave the door open long today so I just took a window shot.
Looks like you’re running out of headspace. So lush! Goals
Clones taken of the good one (2) (monster crop on the left one). As far as I’m concerned the one on the right isn’t blue dream. Just a sister of blue dream. I’m gonna stop pretending designer strains can be grown from seed. The designer industry is clones. And the left ones scent brings me straight back to 2009. Right one grows tall. Has ugly spacing. will be a trimming nightmare. Even if it does smoke good. I won’t clone it. Especially since it doesn’t listen and is 2 weeks behind the other, I’d wager even with being over a foot taller it will yeild less product too… With a generic smell. Chocolope wanna be. Lol.
I broke one of the ones heads off. She better be worth it. I’m considering chopping her and letting the other one produce me some quality bud. Since these two blue dream aren’t even remotely similar. Besides the blue fan leaves. Lol. And the one on the left is the pheno jackpot. I must have stupid good luck. Since I got the Chocolope pheno I wanted on my very last seed in a 30 pack. Then blue dream one of the first two dropped. I have yet to find someone else’s blue dream who looks like the one on the left here. All their structures are like the one on the right. Which is no one’s fault. It’s a gamble.
She wasnt 6" over the pot when flipped… Just saying. She stretched 8 fold. Not an indoor girl. My tent is 72" tall
Honestly if she encroaches 4 more inches to the left I’ll either kill her or throw her behind my veg tent with a whopping 45 watts… Lol
