Hello! I hope I dont seem stupid with asking all of this but I was hoping to get some insight into my plant. I havent been having any problems with it besides since yesterday about. It was starting to be toppled over but not fully then was fully this morning so I used a plant tie to keep it up. The stem did start growing slightly with a bed in it for some reason as well. I am completely new too this and dont know much of anything about this. Ive been researching and trying to find out what I should do but I just wanted to get a second opinion before I mistake symptoms and harm the plant.
Two questions:
How much and how often are you watering?
What are you using to light the plant?
Inside or outside. Seedling stretched too much due to inadequate lighting. What type of soil are you using? Seems to be alot of wood chips or bark in it. I would bury the stem up to the point the head is barely above ground. If inside lower your light to control stretching. Also a humidity dome is needed, sprayed on the inside with water. Your seedling get their water from the air, not the soil. Allow your soil to dry out. After the seedling recovers, startcwatering a small amount around the base of the seedling not directly on it. You want your roots searching for water. Btw, no question is stupid here. If its on your brain, let er rip tater chip. Welcome to the growmunity.
I am currently watering 1 time a day or so to every other day, the light im using is 100W full-spectrum grow light with LM301B LED. I run it for around 20 hours a day or so.
accessories are basically the same besides I am using a humidifier as well.
Thank you so much sir!! I have been extremely concerned about this plant! I have had one pass on me already but havent been sure on the whole process and thought i might as well ask before trying again! my current mix has dr. earth glower girl with FoxFarm FXCoco Loco Potting Mix.

i am currently growing indoors!
I dropped these tuesday, soaked for 12 hours, dropped in soil wed morning, popped ground thurs and fri
Awesome!! Is that how i should be starting them? I did do the soak and then paper towel method in a plastic bag, and put them directly into the pot. I should instead put a damp clear plastic cup over it for how long would you say?
Here is my method for germination.
-
3 parts water 1 part h202 (hydrogen peroxide)
-
Soak for 8 to 12 hours. Small taproot should appear.
-
Plant taproot up in premoistened soil about 1/4 to 1/2 in deep. Cover with a humidity dome, 24 hr light and wait.
Once the seedling emerge, spray the inside of the dome about 2 times a day. Keep the domes on until your first set of true leaves appear and the leaves reach the edge of the container
That sounds awesome too me! Im gonna start using the humidity dome immediately! Ill keep updated to see if it continues on the downward slope or starts getting better! also before you mentioned that I should used the humidity dome but let the soil dry out as well. should i put the humidity dome on first or let the soil dry out then put the dome on?
Humidity dome now and dont water
I’d bury that exposed stem, and use a dome.
Its been a couple days now! It seemed to have been getting better and growing better as well! I did just notice it seemed a leaf was a bit of a lighter green than the rest! Is that a bad sign?
Ive just had it in the humidity dome as you mentioned!
Youll have some color variance which os nothing to worry about. Just let her do her thing. Glad shes rebounding!
Awesome!! Im so glad its rebounding as well!! Im gonna make sure to take good care of her and will mention anything else that comes up!! thank you for helping me!

Heres some inspiration
That looks absolutely gorgeous! That is definitely inspiration for me! Ill make sure to @ you if i have any more questions!!
@ChittyChittyBangin Sorry to bother you again but I did notice this and was wondering about it! I have had these little white bugs in the soil, they dont go on the plant too much but I saw one on her for the first time today, im not sure if i should be worried or what i should do to remove them
sorry the photos arent too clear, my phone camera cant see those really easily since theyre so small
Just for safe measure, get a bottle of jacks dead bug from lowes its organic and safe to use up till harvest. Spray the top of the soil and also the outside of your container. Could be soil mites which are harmless, but just to be sure…
Thank you!! I just wanna make sure this is the right stuff!
This is how shes doin today!
well i was gone for less than a day and i came home to find this @ChittyChittyBangin
what do you think the cause could be??
it looks like root rot
what do you think i should do to avoid this next grow?
