It should, but im unconvinced it would be worth the money myself.
Do you seem to have soil ph issues alot or build soils alot?

You can get a fairly accurate doing a soil slurry. Take a pint of distilled water and fill it about half way with soil. Shake the snot out of it then let it settle. Drain/strain and test the water.

Unless finances aren’t an issue for you at all, there’s probably far better things to invest in that your plants would appreciate more. I bought that Blue Lab soil pH pen a couple of years ago. It was helpful in determining that I didn’t have a problem I thought I had, but I don’t think I’ve touched it twice since then.

I have used my Blue Labs soil pH pen to solve a couple of issues. There are other ways to accomplish the same thing (soil slurry, etc) but I am happy to have this tool in my arsenal.

I agree with the slurry test. Its easy and accurate.
Lots of ways to do it. I take 1/4 cup of RO water and 1/4 cup of dirt from the grow bag. Dig down a few inches. Mix and let set 10 minutes and then stick the meter in and read. Just rinse off well after. Can check PPMs the same way.
