My blue dream feminized have been in flower for several weeks. On previous grows of power plant and gold leaf, I have waited until all pistils were brown, with great results. As the picture shows, all trichromes are milky and the pistils are about 50:50 white to brown. With this strain, are the recommendations the same, all brown pistils with all milky trichromes at harvest?
Do you have a pic of the triches? She looks to have some time yet to truly blossom.
Agreed with @BobbyDigital. Looks like she is really about to fatten up. Definitely has more time. Trichs will tell more.
Trichromes are 100% milky. no brown at all. I don’t have a macro photo of them, but on the bud and sugar leaves, there is no clear, but no brown.
Give her some time! She’s beautiful!
This and your desired amount of amber trichs.
The last couple of weeks can make a world of difference.
thanks all for your help. This is THE best forum I have ever found… not just for growing advice, but 100% kind, polite, helpful members! I shall be patient and await the goodness!!
I still struggle with that.
If this is an ILGM strain, keep taking pics. Should be a good Bud of the Month contender.
Beautiful flower! Keep Em Growing
Gorgeous flower! If I ever run BD again I will chop at the first sight of amber or all milky trichomes. Tried both ways the latter amber late BD was like sleeping meds and the flavor was not as good. I don’t think I will ever run a sativa dominant strain much past milky again. Either way! Yours looks amazing, and agree w others and would wait until the pistols finish turning and receded into the bud at least she just fattening up for ya!
