BJ’s grow journal. Grow em and show em ✌🏻

I haven’t had that problem My Brother. I’ve had floods from stuck aqua valves and I’ve had them stop up but not the problem you’re having. I’m sorry. @Myfriendis410 uses autopots mabee he can help. He’s been growing in them a lot longer than me. :victory_hand::love_you_gesture::oncoming_fist:

What is the issue?

Hey @Myfriendis410 ! I had three plants suddenly become droopy last week. They were healthy on Sunday evening, when I checked them again Tuesday morning they looked terrible. The 4th plant in the tent looked great. The 3 droopy ones were a lot bigger than the healthy one at the time so I thought they were possibly root bound so I moved them from 3g to 5g pots but they showed no improvement. All issues pointed to root issues or overwatering so I took them off of the system until the cocoa completely dried out and they recovered. I’ve had them back on it for a couple days now and so far they’re happy again. The system has been functioning properly with no floods so I’m not sure what caused my issue. The plants were on the system for over 3wks and doing great before this all happened so I’m stumped how to keep it from happening again :joy:

I have had a few grows where one plant was showing deficiencies most of the grow, while the others that were same strain were fine. I wondered if it were something with my roots, but if I see it again I may try letting them dry out as you did. I have never done dry back since I switched to coco in Autopots. I am in 60/40 coco perlite. They came out fine but I wondered why they looked the way they did Yours are looking excellent :+1:

Plant in the back left looked that way most of the grow, all the same strain. They weren’t in fade mode yet.

I’ve had that happen as well. Usually if it’s just one plant I don’t change anything. This is the first time I had 3 go to crap almost overnight though. The leaves showed no signs of deficiencies, it was almost like they were poisoned :joy:

I’ve experienced that with most grow methods and have concluded that root mass (or lack of it) was at least partly responsible. Inadequate light can slow the metabolism so plants don’t transpire water as quickly.

If roots aren’t a solid mass then I would suspect that as the cause.

The girls are still happy happy happy:grin: Back to growing and full of leaves, hopefully that little hiccup didn’t hurt them too bad

Fingers crossed we only get snow from the big storm heading this way. Hopefully power outages don’t mess up anyone’s grow this weekend :folded_hands:t2:

I wasn’t able to check on the girls for a few days due to the ice storm. Luckily they didn’t mind the weather

Trying some gadgets out on the tallest Dos Si Dos colas. Supposed to keep them from standing back up after supercrop

Middle of week 6 and all is well. The little snaffu a few weeks ago didn’t seem to hurt anything :+1:t2:

End of week 6. Tent humidity has been running a bit high so I decided to split the plants up and move two of them into a 2x4 to finish

I moved the Pineapple Chunk and Platinum GSC over to the 2x4 and trimmed them up a bit
