You’re going to want a larger light to flower a 4x4. I agree ac infinity, but you probably should’ve went with 6". The 4" fan doesn’t handle static load of filter very well. I can get by 4" fan in my 2x2 or for drying when needing a small amount of air movement, otherwise it kinda falls on it’s face.
Here’s a tip. I use a 6" exhaust, with a 4" intake. Saves a little money, and is working well for me.
So, i bought the wrong light? I guess i have to return it for a bigger one?
Did i buy the wrong size? Do i have to return it?
Did i get the wrong fan also? I need some help
The 6” fan will work great. Are you trying to light the whole 4x4? You would be better off with 2 of those 300’s
Unfortunately with larger tents comes higher costing lights…
I’d recommend any of these for that space… the prices reflected here are higher than what you will find on the actual websites…

It’s $60 more, but there’s an AC Infinity kit with a controller. Not sure your budget, but if you’re going to be manually turning your exhaust on and off to regulate heat/humidity… not sure how that’ll work. Looks like they call it the “Pro” model.
I only use manual fans. 4x4 with 6” duct fan. About half power all through veg and 3/4 to full power through flower. Sucks the walls in pretty tight though so high cfm bars are recommended.
The auto adjustments are cool but unnecessary.
Good to know. I’ve never tried it manually. Always had the (old school) controller.
Knobs and buttons for me. I do appreciate the screen a/c infinity puts out. Nice crisp and clear, but it’s just not for me.
Done… thank you. It was an easy. Not shipped yet so no problem.
Not sure how well known this is, but there’s a couple companies out there that make conduit connectors. I bought some a few years back, and used regular EMT electrical conduit from the hardware store to make braces, like here for a trellis support and a cross brace. Probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but as they say, “the more ya know…”
…sorry for the topic drift
I would think a 6" would be better as exhaust. But the 4" would work great as an intake fan, if you are going to use one.
I have (in my 2x4 tent) 395 Watts total, made up of an HLG 260XL with an added HLG135. For your tent 2 of those 300s should work nicely.
@anon34311147
2 of those fgi uva bars are recommended for a 4x4, I use them also. In the following picture you can see them.
@Bubbala
That’s awesome. @CoyoteCody makes and sells custom brackets for tents also.
Ive got a trellis on the way also, it is included with the Gorilla tent along with the 1 foot extension kit.
How about i keep the 200 respec and use it with the 300 ?
