Hello everyone, just looking to get someone’s advise on everything I’d need to purchase. To started growing autoflower plants! Probably in the region off 15/20 plants, any advice on whats the best brands to go with. For example, led lights? Fans, extraction fans, etc! Also is there much benefit in the likes off paying dearer for a tent and what not?? As i say any advice welcome🙂 even a point in the right direction, much appreciated everyone. God bless yas all
ac infinity is a very widely known brand for basically everything as far as a tent and fans and all the equipment goes.
marshydro, and spiderfarmer are very good brands for lighting, can be spendy but worth the price
ac infinity
marshydro
spiderfarmer
those are the 3 top brands i have seen many many many people use and use myself as far as cannabis growing goes
I calculate 4 sqft of grow space per plant with training to keep a 2 x 2 space per plant. With that said I’ve used 8 sqft for 1 plant. I would calculate 35-40 watts of quality lighting that uses Samsung diodes the B or H series. HLG makes a top notch light but costly, AC Infinity would be my second choice. A reliable PH and TDS pen, exhaust fan and several oscillating fans. Choose a cannabis friend medium or choose the coco route
At first i thought what the hell the more the merrier. Looking back on what i know now. Im better off to grow myself 1 to 3 plants at a time. Anymore then that and i would just be growing to either stockpile or sell. Even with the small amount i grow i end up sharing with friends. My first couple grows were all about seeing how much flower i could grow. Now i focus on growing each plant to the best of my abilities.
All great brands.
Quality over quantity. Everyone has you covered. I will warn you though, you might be disappointed with autos. They are a different world than photos. 15 to 20? Sheesh. Thats alot for 1 person to handle.
Get as tall a tent as you can fit in your space. Later in your grows you may need it. Better to have than need!
Welcome @Davy89 to the forum. My only regret is I don’t have more height in my tent. I’m considering a Gorilla tent for replacement because of their height.
72" just isn’t enough height.
Well I’m defiantly not the resident expert, but that is really ambitious for a first one. But, major considerations are light, temp and humidity. You have to be able to exchange the air in your space without smelling up your neighborhood. Duct fans with carbon filters do the trick. But for 20 plants that’s a lot! Of course lights produce heat… while weed can do well in 90 degrees it seems to prefer down at 80 or below. Humidity, i try to keep around 50%. Others like it higher. But everyone’s situation is different Point is, you need to plan to control these things…
But if you already have a large air conditioned space you may be a better part of the way there.
Yes i upgraded from 2x4x5 to a gorilla 2x4x6.3 and i have no regrets. Much eaisier to work with.
