So I have been doing tons of reading about making carts. I have made bho for many years, but never tried making any of it into carts. I am searching for the best “liquidizer” to use. I’ve read so many post on this forum and many many others through Google searches. Every time I think I found what the best liquidizer is another post or site contradicts it.
I’m looking for a liquidizer that won’t separate after sitting for a little while, doesn’t have an off taste, doesn’t turn the juice dark, and or doesn’t require insane ratios which in the end just dilute your concentrate.
So for anyone who has some experience in this, please chime in. I recently ordered some Shatter Batter Naked and Pure Liquidizer Original to experiment with.
I have a closed column extractor, scientific heating pad, vac chamber, and vac pump.
I’ve been using #710 pure liquidizer and so far it’s worked pretty good and doesn’t taste bad but i think I’m using too much of it. It calls for 1ml per 1/2g of rosin I think that’s way too much. Yesterday I tried 1/2 the amount of liquidizer but I spilled most of it before I could put it in carts. Ended up with .5ml in one cart. It’s definitely stronger using half but I don’t have enough to make a recommendation. I would think BHO would be cleaner than pressed rosin and would require less liquidizer
Been a while since I’ve done this, and there was limited options at the time. I have used wax liquizer and farm to vape. Would say it’s similar experience with both.
I’m a little concerned about what to use as well. I was reading that propylene glycol makes formaldehyde when heated not sure what to believe so going to use terps only.
As long as they don’t contain VG, PEG, or PG then your probably getting the same thing but I couldn’t tell you for sure.
A million brands out there and the man once are over priced.
If you want the original flavour then use the dilution solution, regardless of what they label it… It does the same thing wax liquidizer or flavour less terps or de waxer.
Terps can be used and most use terps or dilute the terps with liquidizer so the terps arnt as strong.
Using BHP you’ll have better luck with cartridges than us with rosin.
Many also decarb their concentrate in a vial at abiut 140-180f until its liquid, they drop a very small amount in of the terp or liquidizer, stir it and inject it while still warm.

I have learned that making dabs and using a dab straw is a much better method, lower cost, lower environmental impact.
Ill be doing a post on this soon, washing some hash in the next day or two.
Thanks for all the insight dude. I got alot of R&D to do for these carts. I’m probably over thinking it, but I read hundreds and hundreds of post all over the internet. So crazy how so many people get such drastic result when using the same liquidizer/dilutant. I’m sure process and quality of concentrate makes all difference.
I ordered a three different flavors from Wax Liquidizer. Put your type of shatter whither distillate, RSO, or shatter into the PG flavored solution, boil for 3 min and then can use in any ecig once cooled.
Mine is supposed to be here tonight and I have two different distillates and some shatter to try. Will make my own thread when they come in with pics!
Made these 2 weeks ago, still a little left in a couple, they weren’t as strong as I would like but still a good buzz. Made some yesterday that was kickass but I spilled probably 1.5ml on my kitchen counter.
I just got in the mail yesterday Shatter Batter and Pure Liquidizer Original. I’m going to make some bho and my first attempt at carts this weekend if I have the time.
