Hihi! First time posting:) Setting up my first grow tent. AC Infinity 2x4x6 with inline vent fan, circ fan and 200w LED S24 - all AC Infinity. I’m a northerner, getting ready for colder temps with my indoor grow (older building) in my master bedroom. I’ll be popping some Bruce Banner Autos to start, since I want to get something I like and to get a grow notched before I even think about photo.
I’m nervous about my temps and humidity. I sit at 70deg F and 20-30% humidity without much variability in my tent. I haven’t placed the seedlings yet, and I’m wondering what I can use to get my temp and humidity in the 80s and 70s, respectively. I can use the UIS controller to hookup a heater-humidifier. But I’m curious what you guys think I should do to amp up my numbers to some nice summer temps and humidity - with or without a device/tech. Please and thank you:)
There’s other humidifiers you can get but they won’t interact as well as the ac infinity probe does, but you could buy it on Amazon and just return it after a while if you’d like

I just ordered a heater for animals. I have a heater with coil and fan blows over it but i get scared because of how bushy the plants are and fires.
Humidifiers. … I got so fed up with!
Now I have a Ultrasonic mister that floats in a bucket (any container that holds water really) hooked to a inkbird humidity controller . you could use whatever controller you wanted tho. Also you see videos with people putting computer fans to make blowers but its not necessary. if you have fans in your tent it will blow the vapors around.
Here i have it sitting in a coffee can because it fit in my germination dome.
While we are are the subject if anyone isn’t into smart technology. you can start small. walmart sells a plug for like 10$ that is wifi. you can control from phone and shut something off / on from anywhere as long as you have internet on your phone. They also can be easily program a scheduled to run, like setting time on a clock.
they have power stripes that are smart as well. If you have Harbor Freight Tools where you are they have a cheap smart power stripe control by your phone.
My Dehumidifier makes so much heat I have to pipe my exhaust into another room in the summer. I use a fireplace looking electric heater from Chinamart hooked up to an inkbyrd thermostat.
My humidifier makes no heat and don’t want it too either as the water evaporates rather easily
I have a small 2.5 liter humidifier that I run in the winter in my basement grow room.
When I fully water the plants, the room instantly and for 2 days bumps up to 60% RH. So I only have to actually run the humidifier about 2 days before watering.
Here’s what I have. The yellow one in the middle. Narrow so it fit my 3x3 tent with 4 plants
