Interested in buying the Bergman fertilizer set. Cannot seem to find it on ILGM. Had it been discontinued or is it just not available? Also, is there a great alternative? Jacks 321 or Fox Farm?
Jacks is good, lots of us are now running Mega Crop one part, it’s so easy to mix and all in one bag, no separate weighing of nutes. Fox Farms is very salty.
MC1 also has added silica and molasses, it’s a pretty complete feed, start to finish, though I add their PK boost in flower to boost the flowering nutes.
jacks all the way, I dealt with the nightmare of fox farm for wayyyyy too long, go with jacks and you won’t be sorry.
I’ll ask and see. Most of the dry/need to be mixed with water applications would be more cost effective.
@dbrn32 Any tips on using the Jacks 321? You’ve been super helpful in the past during my FF grows. I’m trying to minimize the mixing if possible. My older uncle is taking over the feeding as I just recently became a grandma. Grandma duties are no joke. My daughter still lives at home. Anywho - the Jacks feeding schedule feeding chart made me a bit dizzy. Seems like a ton to follow. Uncle T simple watered down plain language instruction. Lol. Thanks
The original jacks 321 recipe (before they started marketing to cannabis) was 3.6 grams per gallon of 5-12-26, 1.2 grams per gallon of unscented epsom salt, and 2.4 grams per gallon of calcium nitrate. You would mix in that order and use the same solution from start to finish. These are basic greenhouse instructions that were on the label of jacks professional hydroponic blend before the rebranding and relabeling of this line. It’s a fairly basic recipe that many of us have had success with.
I see others have suggested the megacrop which may be a better option if you’re concerned about the complexity of mixing. I haven’t used it but it’s become quite popular here and I’m sure there are members that could help with it as well.
Web site says sold out.
