Based on Pistils - Harvest or Wait?

Just started week 13 GG. 3/4 of the plants bud pistils are 75 -90% brown. But the rest are only probably ~50% Should I harvest or wait another week. Thanks in advance.

Harvest timing should be based on trichome maturity rather than pistil status.

Absolutely agree. So same question based on different trichome levels of buds on the plant. They will not all be the same- correct?

Correct. Growers also need to ensure that they are looking at trichomes on flower rather than sugar leaves - a common mistake.

It’s common for flower on the lower parts of the plant to have lesser matured trichs than those among the top of the plant.

First grow. Made mistake early on adding too many nutes despite knowing better. Stunted growth but lesson learned. Fun project.

I grew a gg auto took like 16 weeks in total. Im smoking on it now. Mine also stunted but because of the temp changes she went through. It was a winter grow half in cheap greenhouse then finished in a shed with no heater. Haha. Also thinking maybe going from sun to leds also did something.

She looks fantastic! Well done so far. But yep, standard 2 weeks then reassess situation. This is always the hardest part. You want to hit the harvest window perfectly but she’s looking frosty n smelling funky. Truly a test of patience.

I don’t have anything to get a really clear definition, but from a close-up phone app I can see there’s not any (or very few) that are dark yet. Can’t tell if they are clear or milky…
