Are my autoflowers ready to harvest?

2 of the 4 autos started indoors are flowering outside and getting close to harvest but I can’t tell if they’re ready to chop. Most pistils have turned amber on the chembomb auto but I’m still seeing some here and there especially on the frostier NL auto. Any input is appreciated.

Need a jewelers loop or microscope to really look at the trichomes to see how far along they are. Mostly clear not ready, mostly cloudy can be ready depending on effects your looking for and cloudy with 10 to 20%+ amber heads for a more couch lock effect.

@Serf thank you for the advice :pray:t4: I just ordered a jewelers loop to start monitoring trichomes.

Avg time on an auto is about 90 days start to finish. While you cant bank on that to determine it can help you id when is too long. “If your 120 days in on an auto you might be over done.” All pistils being red and laying down is another tip that things are finished. As stated tho the only way to really tell is a jewlers loop.

@Docnraq thank you for explaining it this way. So by the 90 day window I’m still 2-3 weeks away from chop which means these beauties will hopefully fatten up more. Also didn’t know about the pistils laying down. Will definitely look out for those as well. Thank you for the advice :pray:t4:

@Aaron1 I appreciate it :pray:t4: yes I’m so excited to try my own grown meds as apposed to dispo bud I’m never going back to dispo bud lol. Happy toking to you as well :sunglasses:

That’s why I started mine also definitely won’t be visiting the disp any time soon. Very nice to know what is put in to it. And to get to enjoy even better I have an auto super skunk that I believe will be ready very soon. That’s what drew me in was curiosity lol
