Well, i screwed up.

I was taking a picture of my lights comparing the new SF-1000 to the 2 previous versions. I set the dimmer to 100% and promptly forgot to turn it back down to 40%.

Yep they arent burnt too badly…I really like my new light meter …takes all the guesswork out of lighting…I think it’s really a necessity…like a ph meter, just not used as often…

What meter did you go with I do agree meters very good tool to have

That is true. I’m using the Photone app on my android. I hear it’s accurate, but as long as it’s consistent is what matters to me most! Lol

It’s the 7th inning stretch. They are starting to pile on the buds and thicken up. Right now it’s a matter of keeping the reservoir full.

A few sleeping beauty pics.

I believe i have a Low PH lockout causing my oh to stay too low and slowly dropping. So, I’m working on that. I also gave a Calmag booster to help in case it’s a calcium deficiency.

Some pics to relax

Should i prune the damaged leaves?
Or will the plant utilize the remaining energy and discard it?

Can anyone give me some advice please?
Should i prune the damaged leaves or leave them?

Once they get to a certain point, I think they become harder on the plant to try to keep it alive than any kind of mobile nutes it might be offering up.

I’m still learning the finer mechanics myself, so I’m hesitant to offer anything concrete. It does seem like some of the harder hit ones could go though.

Yes I would get rid of the affected leaves I would also prune a lot of the bigger fan leaves so more light can penetrate the plant :v:t2:

Thanks, I’ll get those taken off asap.

I used to prune a lot, like every day… just a couple of leaves at a time. I was like an old lady with her roses.
But this grow I wanted to mix things up. So, I’ve done very little pruning.

Highly recommended to do a pruning …a nd then leave the plant alone…you are not to be picking at those plants…stop it right this minute young man…only kidding…its your plants you are allowed to do anything you want my gro brother…

Wish to heaven you were here …I would put you to work defoliating for about 3 days…lol…Happy Growing…

I gave them a nice hair cut. They seem happy… so far… lol
I also changed out the reservoir solution. Been having trouble keeping
the PH above 5.6 and I want a 5.8-6.2 range.

Ive found a sweet spot ar 5.75…

I also have heard that different nutrients are available at different ph levels…have been advised to let ph drift from 5.6 to 6.2…

That seems to be a sweet spot for me as well, but just a little higher at 6
