Hey Guys, Auto’s week 6, what range should my PPFD’s be at canopy during Flower
Between 200-400 PPFD: This is great for seedlings, clones, and mother plants.
Between 400-600 PPFD: This is great for early to late stage vegging cycles.
Between 600-900 PPFD: This is great for the flowering, fruiting, or budding stage of plants.
Hey man,
Thanks
If possible the photone app is a great tool to help. But only works with an iPhone all you need is a piece of paper as a diffuser. It works my measuring your DLI, daily light interval
The Photone app is what I use. It helps take the guesswork out. Happy Growing
Keep in mind that suggestion 600 to 900 PPFD during flower is geared towards photo periods, who are only getting 12 hours of light. If you keep your lights on 18 hours for your autos, there’s no need to go near 900.
PPFD of 600 at 18 hours on is more than enough to achieve a proper DLI.
Cap-Ron is right on, with the photone app you enter how long your light is on dose the math for you. Like said a great tool to help. I was never good at math, so it help me a lot lol
It’s works with android and its free and you don’t need filter paper
Hi everyone,
One of our recent articles specifically speaks about PPFD’s and even features a chart for our growers to use!
