im a long ways from being a pro, but i have personally had the best luck planting in final container. I also use ffof and havent had any trouble. I do layer in some Mycorrhizal Fungi Root Enhancer. and use a growing circle watering technique to encourse root growth during seedling stage. Best of luck and hope you enjoy this grow

So I would do 2 to 1 Happy Frog (2) to Ocean Forest(1)

Its a good mix and you balance out really nicely.

I’m guessing no kind of topping needed?

Anyone add nutes along the way or will it make it through besides maybe bloom nutes?

Here’s a link to my current journal. I grow autos, and I’ve detailed just about every step along the way.

How far do you keep your light/lights?

With ffof I do not feed at all for first 5 weeks. Its a pretty hot soil. some say to hot for seedling but ive never personal had any problems. This grow I kept my DLI at 45 during veg, then dropped it down to 40 for flowering. im trying to get tighter buds and someone suggested less light intensity. I still have a while to see if that technique works out. I just use an app on my phone called tent buddy to measure light intensity.

I have had decent success using ffof on bottom 2/3 and ffhf on top 1/3 along with 20% perlite mixed throughout. Seems to be that by the time my roots have grown enough to get into the ffof is about the same time my autos go into flowering. I started adding nutes about this time as well and seems to be going well so far.

4 weeks in and my ph is still pretty good though a flush is charted soon. Hope this helps your fox farms soil inquiry. Happy growing! :v:

It kind of hard to say… if you treat them best at early veg you can top.

Normally they will start to show majority at week3-4 so if she can grow healthy you can top for sure.

I just top my OG kush auto 2 times 1st at 14 day old 2nd at 25 day old.

Here she is

Topping window are open before pistil show for me. After that they will start preflower process and will be to late

Forgot to mention that it is no need topped at all. LST should be a safe and can give a great yielda, i just love training my autos
