I have 2 healthy Gold Leaf autos that are 65 days old, they are in 4th week of flower. They have been under 12/12 since day 1. Can I flip them back to 18/6 till harvest ??
I want to start another photo.

I would think youll be alright. I never tried it so i cant really say. If anything it will be a learning experience

Autos should do fine under most any light schedule as long as they get their minimum DLI.

I prefer to go 18&6 with my auto’s but i don’t think it will bother your plant if you decide to change the lighting schedule… just my opinion… some guys grow their’s under 24 hour lighting nonstop…

I assume you started them with some photo flowering? Do it all the time. Get the photo schedule on and getem in. The auto just truck on along.

In theory autos flower under any light schedule so I’d imagine i wouldn’t effect them too bad if at all if you was to give them more light

Yes you can flip that back to 18/6. I grow both and have done this several too many times

Not a problem it is a weed after all it’ll only get 6 hrs of sleep why not go to 20 4 instead of 18 6 you get bigger yields with 20 4 from the start of your seeds that are autos

What about if you have to be away for a week or so? I’ve been on a 24hr plan since she poked her head up. In the 5th week now and plan to be away in mid-July.
Was planning to just water up and reduce to 50% power and leave on 24hr.
Any thoughts from the exspurts…

I switch from a T5 fluorescent at day 14 to 18/6 on my regular light with height and DLI by the growth stage

Look into getting a blumat system. Or one of them Blumat Easy bottles.

The MacGyver funnel works well if you’re available to pour.
