Auto Skywalker haze. Early sign of flowering in day 22

Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing well. Recently I ordered a bag of seeds from D.P. the strain I ordered was auto Skywalker haze. I’ve grew several autos over the years and this is the first time I encountered this. This is gonna be quite lengthy. Please bare with me.

The plants is only 22 days since germination and I already saw pistils emerging(please refer to the image attached) i need some advice on how to prevent this in the future.

320w led with IR and UV dimmer. Brand less but the maker claims it uses Samsung LM301H

450 PPFD
Height 2feet
3 gallon fabric pot

Transplant 1 time on day 10 because the roots are poking out from Coco fiber cup. Was gonna transplant to the final pot but I figured it would too hot for 10 days old seedling( biobizz all mix in final pot)

Transplant did not go well from Coco fiber cup to a slightly bigger container with lighter mix. The soil fell apart when removing the plant. But I’m surprised too see it did recover in 3 days time. She is doing okay for about 4 days. Praying, but later show sign of droopiness. Slow growth. So I decided to to transplant again to the final pot. When I removed the plant from the container. I saw root bound. Again the transplant did not go well the root are all stuck I had squeezed the container pretty hard due to first and 2nd attempt it didn’t come off right away. Again the soils fell apart. But I proceed anyway sprinkled some mychorizal and cover it up with soil. She was doing fine then recovery was pretty quick. Then I saw pistils emerging from the node. What went wrong and where did messed up?

Most of my autos are showing pistils around day 22. By the look of the plant it looks healthy and happy now.

Maybe the mishaps during transplant have trigger it, maybe not.

Yeah could be. I googled it. But I gotblots varying answer. Transplant is one of the possibilities. But genetics plays a big part they say. Some were saying it could the light being at too high PPFD that triggers it. I mean it was rather disappointing she is no bigger than my palm size. I know she wouldn’t yield much by the looks of it but still…

It can still get big, this one also started to show pistils at more or less the same age and size as yours:

Wow..that’s quite encouraging. I apologise for being so paranoid.it’s just that over the years I had never bump into these kind of situations. This is the first time it happens to me. My autos normally shows pistils within 35 to 45 days. And was never this small on day 20. The leaves would reach the edge of the pot. Oh well I guess there is always a first time.. thanks a lot man.

Not showing flower or pre-flower Growmie, she is showing sexual maturity though :love_you_gesture:

Agreed. I will add though, that most autos I’ve grown start the transition/stretch about 10-14 days after throwing pistils.

That’s about the norm for photo period plants showing maturity. Autos are autos and I’ve had them flower from week 3 to week 6. Your auto looks like it’ll start flowering around 40ish days or so, that’s a good thing and will give it more veg growth :love_you_gesture:
