Auto LST out of the Soil?

So I have this auto LSD Runtz that came out of the ground looking like she LST’d herself. This is only my second grow so I have never seen this. I have a couple questions regarding this. First off is the weight of her leaves going to be to much right now? Should I give support? Should I raise my light? I have 5 other autos 1 other LSD Runtz that are standing tall and straight!

All girls are 7 days old today. I have a feeling I’ve stunted them already, the started in these pots after wet paper towel germ. I have 420 actual watts running. They seem to be looking good but idk. I just hope they get bigger than the 1st run I did. I also have two “photos” in 1 pot that seem to be struggling. I’m a bit confused with that too because what I hear from everyone that photos are so much easier and tougher, but these two huckleberry’s look to be struggling right off the bat. 18/6 light. No nutes at the moment, Mother Earth performance soil with extra perlite/but of coco coir mixed in. Thanks for any help and wisdom. It is greatly appreciated as always.
Photos are right after watering before lights out.

They look pretty good, if anything I would pack some more soil around and straighten up the leaning one. You can pack soil up to just under the cotelydon leaves( very first 1 finger leaves). How far away are your lights from canopy? Have you downloaded the photone app to dial in your ppfd? And I would definitely recommend only 1 plant per pot. Get rid of those babies or transplant carefully to another pot. What kind of light are you using? I see you started 7 plants, how big of tent and how many watts of light you’re running is going to matter. Generally 40-50 watts per square foot of space.

Had them about 20”-26” above but lowered them a couple of days ago to probably 16”-18”
I have downloaded the app but haven’t purchased the led. Not quite sure on how to measure read or adjust all that yet. Still need to read up on it.
They’re running in a 4x4x8 6” in-line duct, 420 watts….

Shittttttt! I, for some reason thought it was 40- 50 watts per plant not per sq.ft.
Damn looks like I fucked this run up too.
Shittttttt! So I’m going to need like a 800watt $1000 dollar light or something for that tent right?

What kind of phone do you have? If using an iPhone you will need to attach a paper diffuser over your phone covering the front camera. Following this chart has helped me a lot. You want to hold your phone parallel to your canopy and dial in your light using your dimmer switch until you get in the median range. I would set them around 300-400 ppfd at the stage there at now. The closer the light is to the plant the less overall coverage you will have , you can have the light hanging higher if you increase the intensity or lower and use less intensity.

I would recommend 150-200 watts per plant if breaking it down that way. 420 watts isn’t too bad, what brand of light do you have? You wanna look into the specs and the vegetative cover and the flowering coverage of the light to make sure if will work for tent size

Hahahahahaha 1 mars hydro ts600
1 vipar spectra p2000 and some blurple cheap light pushing 120 actual watts.
I need a bar style light way more powerful as well. But I’m poor and have a family so just working with what I got for now. Until I can find another “deal” lol.

I feel you man, you should be alright to get some plants to flower with what you have. If I was you I would only do 3-4 in a run and keep them close together and have the lights contained to the middle of the tent. The vipar in the middle and others off the side. Try and direct as much light as you can over top them girls.

I’m using a Mars hydro sp3000 bar light (300 watts)in my 2x4x6 tent on my 2nd grow. Great coverage and very happy with results. Here’s my 2 autos a few weeks from harvest. I’m doing 2 at a time.

Yeah I will definitely probably just run 4 next time. Got a little excited I guess when I got this new tent. My first run I ran 4 in a 2x2x4 hahahaha with only 220 watts only harvested 71 g. Was shooting for a goal of 2oz per plant. Still am actually but I’m think the third time will be the charm hahahah.
@Shaggy1987 Thank you for your advice I appreciate it.

Happens to us all man, I bought a vivosun vs 1000 for my first grow, joined this forum and realized I done messed up and skimped on the most important part. Bought another light, a 2x2 tent to start seedlings/ dry in and many other things. I’m probably around 1000-1200$ invested on equipment now.

Hell yeah man, you know what you’re doing. Those buds look nice for first time. I got a sour stomper x grape crinkle berry from Memphisto genetics and a strawberry shortcake from seeds man going now. First grow was GG4 and kush mints.

Nice. Plants in pics look fine. The one does appear to lean a bit but will come back no issues just needs to beef up the stalk some. Autos don’t like a lot of attn like a photo type does. Training does seem to help a lot with autos and getting a good return. 2 plants in 1 pot is def not a good idea as one will fight for nutrients the other is taking up making one plant not get what it needs ect. Do t give up ur journey right away u will always have one or 3 guys/gals who just don’t play well with others and that’s okay u just let them sit on the time out bench until they learn to play well with others. Find u one person or so whom u like their grow styles and follow after them. Once u get a hang of this and that then u can move on the next grow and give another person’s ideas a try ect u til u find the way I like growing the best. @Not2SureYet @Nicky are both super good auto guys maybe if u havnt seen their name in search bar and check out their threads.

Nice also with autos I’ve found here smaller pots smaller plants. I know some day 3 gallon is plenty for inside but I don’t think so I use 7 gallon for everything and get best results doing this. I’ve tried 1 gallon and 5 gallon and 7 and 8s give me the most yield so far bigger rootzone bigger plant.

Thanks @Mark0427 I would take Mark’s advise and pull one of the plants out in the pot that has 2 in it. You are going to need a big pot to pull off 2 in a pot. @Big123 does it. But uses a 50 gallon pot. I take it you have a 4x4 tent? My goal is to get back over here to ILGM at least once a day again. Are all of these autos? If so. You are going to have to do a little advanced training to keep all of them. Photos are easier to manipulate in a small space since you have a lot of time to train them. Some autos grow compact. Others can take up a good part of the 4x4 for one plant. I think you will find 4 in a 4x4 is pretty tight. Doable though. If these are all autos. And you want to keep all of them. Hit me up and I can offer a little advise for what I might do. Just to give you an option or 2.
Also. Don’t worry about these looking small for the first 10 days or so. Right now. They will be more focused on growing roots than on top.
It looks like you are off to a good start. I would run two 260 LED lights in my 4x4 if I was to do 4 in it. I run 130w per plant in my tents. I just did a single plant in a 4x4 area with a pair of 260 lights.
For Marks bigger pot for bigger plants. I am finding with how I grow. Nutes and lights. I can squeeze 5 oz per each gallon of a pot size. But I do agree. My minimum is normally a 5 gallon when I do autos. Unless in autopots.
I will be tagging along here. it looks like a fun grow :+1:
