don’t like ILGM genetics but their auto genetics are less than desirable from what I’ve seen on the forum…but they grow bud and many still yeild okay. Nicky can you give me a site that has good genetics? If so ill send you my email address
Nice thread @Nicky
I’ve learned a ton of info from you over my short grow years. I only do autos. But I have come a long way from all your help.
What is the best VPD for different stages?
@Nicky Hey Nicky, great thread and appreciate your commitment to answering all the questions!! So here is mine…lol
Is this enough post flowering growth on this plant to re-veg under 18/6 light schedule? I have started feeding veg nutrients.
If you like autos then I would grow a couple fastbuds autos and then compare every thing to that in the future, mephiso is one of the top auto breeders, he works with night owl so they have good ones to, Dutch passion and dinafem also. Go from there.
Do not share your email here that’s against forum policy.
@Woodrow ty sir! I really appreciate the kind words from you all, helps in today’s world of constant struggle and negativity.
@Zagbah1995 just follow a cannabis VPD chart, stick to high humidity side of things come veg.
@Hogbud great question, I have never flowered and re begged anything actually maybe @Covertgrower can chime in here
I have a question for everyone else
I haven’t consumed in about 3 months, the wife is off to work, the dog is sleeping beside me, Bossman just ate so he’s settling in for a nap (he’s up half the night)
So I’m thinking I should toss a little bud in the volcano…
Its 8am… Just at the home 1st day off after 2 weeks of 12hr shifts up north, probably setup my playstation.
What should I vape?
Indicas:
Northern lights (fast buds)
Strawberry nuggets (mephiso)
Purple gorilla
Sativas:
Bruce banner (monster genetics)
Green crack (Cali connect)
Bangi haze (ACE landrace genetics)
Zamzelica (ACE landrace genetics)
Super Cindy haze (@MattyBear genetics)
Hybrids:
LSD25 (fast buds)
Sweden n sour (mephiso)
Or!
I could do the highly enjoyable microdose of psilocybin, that builds neropathways
Playstation sounds like indicas to me. Especially after 2 weeks on! Strawberry nuggets sounds good!
Wow only one suggestion… Thought people would jump all over that.
Micro dosed, gonna smoke some indica when it wears off =)
This is due to understanding all of Emerson’s work. The addition of far red leds to most of horticulture applications we’re dealing with aren’t solely intended for Emerson effect. Emerson himself stated his findings weren’t applicable in high intensity applications.
Thnx @dbrn32 I didn’t catch that, I did look into second Emerson effect and such, did he state at what level would be considered high intensity? Because my thought is lower veg it would still assist then.
This is what I’m seeing being marketed as the latest and greatest, although I haven’t had time to look into it.
We know red helps with the flowering phase and we know blue helps with veg phase, UV-B is meant to cause stress and thus produce more sunscreen aka tricombs if done in a healthy stress way, as far as the IR that’s the Emerson effect theory? Seems like they are throwing the kitchen sink at it hoping for one or all of them to work.
However the lady time you and me spoke about building lights @dbrn32 in detail, I do agree I think I would just stick to 3500k and run some reds with them. Best bang for your buck and the minor improvements if anything would be fairly hard to tell
Agreed, ladies never get tall on 12/12.
Re-veging, kills too much time, but possibly useful with excess or terminal plant.
Faster to compost it in my Lind when you think of the resources used… But that’s my 2c =/
@Hogbud, Reveg a big flowered plant takes 8-12 weeks.
I would agree with @Nicky if I were primarily indoor grower. Just pop seeds or settle into a clone routine.
But outdoor growers it gives you something to do thru the winter. Pop seeds, keep them in 4” pots. Flower them right away. Let males go (reg seeds) to pollen. Then begin reveg on small seedlings with seeds on board. They take the same amount of time to reveg with seeds as without. Small Bansai seedlings reveg in 4-6 weeks rather than big monster cropped plants that need 8-12. Think turning a canoe VS a cruise ship. Less biomass. Anyway, The reason to do this is seeds.
I usually get about 25-50 seed per Bansai plant. You also get to see what they look like budded before you grow them all summer. If you don’t like one you can cull it.
Basically you get next years seeds in hand before you even grow out this years crop. I pluck all the seeds then spring plant the revegged seed plucked female to outdoor veg.
I usually reduce to select “select” males, but sometimes it’s good to open pollinate an individual seed run too.
Here is a pic of some dj short BB x jillybean crosses I made. There are the F1s. Anyway, here was what they looked like revegged right before I plucked the seeds.
Now you tell me, gee no wonder I see no change.
been pulling my hair out.
@noddykitty1
@Spudgunner or @WaPNWGrower invited Tulalip Casino in May.
Seed trade in May, good plan.
Been a while since I’ve looked at any of that stuff, but there is some supporting data provided with his studies. I filed this stuff away as not important to what I was doing, but I know it’s out there for those interested.
I hear you on the fact that alot of this stuff we file away in the not important to what I’m doing lol.
3500k with reds is what you still agree with if you were gonna build a decent sized setup today?
Friend is setting up a C-can so figured ide get a confirmation that I’m still giving solid info without having to sift through a bunch of weeds
Shew, thanks for the intel ! I mostly only do clone runs indoor unless I feel like new genetics then I’ll drop some seeds then select the bast pheno from the pack. Re-vegged many clones before but the deepest into flower was around 4 weeks and they took like forever lol. This particular one I was going to end but one of my mates begged me to do another run and gift clones. I’ll keep her with the other mothers, I have time luckily… thanks again!!
Yes something like 3500k or 4000k with 660nm seems to work really good. If/when I find a reason i will probably try some 5000k and high fidelity stuff with 660nm. I think it would do pretty good.
The light in my current grow space is 4000k 90cri with 400nm and 660nm. Nothing wrong with spectral performance here. Running about 160 watts in 2x3 and easily exceeds a gram per watt with less than ideal canopy temps. I think i could get 300 grams out of it if I ran a heater and managed canopy as such.
I personally like to trip. I would do 3.5 and spend my day with bossman while I puff on some sativa during the day (green crack) and smoke some indica (purple gorilla) at night for the come down and order some food while watching a movie.
Since you want to microdose. Id microdose and smoke some sativa during the day then switch up to indica before bed.
