What kind of deficiency does this big girl have? I’m thinking low potassium? Thoughts

I wouldn’t worry too much about trying to hit that 40% number if you pick the right wavelength. The study says “up to 40%” before it stopped showing gains. But their 40% was made up of all three of their FR wavelengths, the shortest of which was the most effective(711nm), the middle one was somewhat effective, & the longest one was not very effective in comparison. I don’t know what percentages of each of those three fr wavelengths made up their total 40%, but some of it was not as effective as the rest.

This is my first mother plant in its first Revegging stage with her baby clones. I only have an additional 2x2 tent to work with so my question is:
Should I take the mother outside to flower or switch her in the 2x2 alone and finish the clones in the 4x4. The concern I guess is would it produce better outside (Virginia) . I believe it’s ready to flip anytime. And being a reveg she’s sooo bushy, how do you trim her up to look good?

Potassium is rarely a deficiency we see.

Leaves are not praying, she’s a bit light in color showing she’s been lacking nitrogen at some time since flower… Remember once leaf damage has occurred in flower it will never be repaired, so idk when it started to lack nitrogen.

Need other pictures closer though. Closer. Flash on lights off

Good info. I first assumed I got mixed seeds a couple times.

Is my plant male or female? Two weeks into flower stage . Thx

Hello friends! Banana Dream 4 weeks since light swap. I just tried down the branches to keep it lower. How much taller do you think it will get?

Thanks!

What week flower are you in?

Normally around week 3-4 your plant will do what’s called a “stretch”. She’ll grow like a dang foot in a few days I swear. Haha. Impressive ladies.

Thanks! Flowers started appearing about 10 days ago.

I’ve had an adventure with this one, it’s my first plant ever so I’ve been experimenting on it. First I topped it when I got it from a friend at about 3 weeks (June 10). Then I tried super cropping and broke off both tops by accident (June 21).

I’m impressed with how fast it recovered and all the new growth! I thought I really messed up.

It’s 24" right now so I can manage another foot! I’m just not equipped to deal with super tall plants at this time.

Guys i need little help here. Any advice wpuls be good. Im in week 5 of veg stage and id like to know what you think of my current situation?

I have trouble lining them at the same height, still inexperienced enough.

600w HPS with cool tube and exhaust fan

Got filter with one more fan and 2 more vents inside the room for more air control

Using 32 litre smart pots filled with plagron grow soil and perlite

Nutrients: Hesi Tnt, hesi root complex, power zyme and supervit, feeding them every second watering , somwtimes every watering.

Distance from light 25-30 cm ( 10-12 inches)

I did topping only once, i dont think my light can cover more bud sites, did lst and defoliation, and little lolipopping 2 days ago. Im prepping them for flowering.

I would try treilising with nets, but id like to hear some expert opinions and what should i change?

Forgot about temp and humidity, humidity is 50-55, while i struggle with temp a lot coz i live in a hot area during summers ( 30 celsius often), i cant find a way to fight that.

Hoping to hear from someone with some gangsta solution

Ur in a sunny state, put it outside.
I week 2 of flower lollipop it first then defoilate it.

It won’t grow anymore

My thoughts:

I would never lollipop or defoilate in veg, the idea behind these methods is to ensure fewer bud sites see more light while less energy goes to weaker thinner branches.
However in veg we want as much biomass as possible in order to contribute to photosynthesis, growing bigger roots and thicker branches.

Your saying light height, so this tells me that you haven’t learned to use DLI yet.
So here is a piece of homework, read the first post.

Secondly print out a cannabis VPD chart and put it in your grow room so you can focus on dialing in your heat/humidity for an ideal VPD.
Temperature is your issue due to the non LED lighting and your ambient temp, so the best you can do is put on a high capacity fan and ensure that your hoses are laid out to avoid suckling up hot exhaust air… I wonder what the other end of that window looks like. Where these exhaust and intakes are all going and do they conflict with each other.

I personally prefer the black exhaust lines because they come with a extra layer of plastic on them, however you could insulate them with bubble wrap or something.

I don’t like nets, because once plants grow into them that’s it until you harvest.
Setting up individual scog nets is more ideal but instead I use bamboo poles and plant ties in combination with plant yoyos hung from a line on the roof.

As for plant height, simplest thing to do is put the shorter plants on something like a 3 or 5 gallon bucket flipped upside down.

If your in soil you shouldn’t need to feed until flower, but now that your feed a salt based nutrient system you’ll need to ensure run off so that the root zone doesn’t get salted up over time and create lockout due to a PH change of salt build up.
If you want to feed everyday or every second day grow in coco.

To be honest soils a waste of time unless you want to grow all organically in giant pots or outside in the ground.
Otherwise grow in coco with regular nutrients or organic nutrients.

But your here to learn so just pointing out what my thoughts are.

Coco is definitely for me because I like the control I have over the plant and what she’s taking in. I tried soil first and it was a learning curve I couldn’t crack. Love my coco and perlite

I did soil for 2 years. But coco was such a game changer.

I really love this interactive VPD calculator. It’s much better than paper charts because you can dial in air temp, leaf temp, and the phase of growth you’re in and get an instant humidity level to shoot for.

There is a member building an app with some input from us. Soon it will be available.
It includes a VPD map and a DLI chart all with custom inputs and much more.

So I’m going to fire my grow back up, September 1st.

I figure I will grow 1 indica auto that I have laying around
And 4 sativa autos/fems (my dad smokes sativa)

I think I’m going to grow fast buds Strawberry Pie, it’s been tested at 26% and is the Latin American auto cup winner. I won a pack of these a while back for submitting some data to Fastbuds.

So here are the 6 I have in stock, I want to grow 4 of them… I have grown auto euphoria but I had a light leak and it was a bad result, as well I have grown the lemon AK but its been one of my best plants ever.

So what two would you get rid of and why?

Hybrid (Sativa feel), White widow max|Msnl
Hybrid sativa leaning, Gorilla cookies|Fast buds
Hybrid Sativa leaning, Wedding cheesecake|Fast buds
Sativa, AutoEuphoria|Dutch Passion
Sativa 70%, Blue dream|Humboldt seeds
Sativa, Lemon AK47|Fast Buds

I don’t want to buy anymore seeds right now and want to use up some of my stock, even more so since this will be my first grow in a year and a half
