Ask me anything!

I would love to give my opinion as to which to grow but I just don’t have the breadth of experience that most of you have.

I’d pass on the White Widow and AK47 and only because those are plants I see grown a lot. :man_shrugging:

Appreciate the tag Grow Bro and stoked to follow along. Agreeing with Matty on the 2 to pass on. I do love the buzz from the AK though :love_you_gesture:

So I am using a 1980s Phototron box for my seedlings. I wet them on cotton balls and then plant in happy frog soil. 30 watt light till they get about a foot tall, then transplant to 5 gallon air pots and put in tent with 600 watt light on 18/6 schedule for veg and 12/12 for flowering. I feed with general hydroponics floranova 4-8-7 when flowering.
I have now run out of my beloved black cherry ice cream and have bought the auto flower mix pack from ILGM. I plan on following this same routine. Any advise on lighting and growing autos?

Hey thanks for the tag that’s a tough one.
I’m with you on using the seeds you have . Finishing up on a couple Jack h autos. Seeds was 5 years old. Set to watch.
I vote use your oldest seeds.
Good luck

I have used all my seeds and have purchased the auto mix pack and was looking for grow advise/opinions. Thanks

Which mixed pack strains did you purchase. Lot of growers here have grown the mixed packs.

Lol thanks for the input everyone, @CMichGrower yeah I just didn’t want to start a new thread for one simple question when it’s really more of an opinion poll than anything factual but your right I’m answering the questions lol.

The lemon AK is just a fire plant so it’s definitely a favorite but maybe I’ll just hold onto it.
The white widow was what I figured would be voted out, however was hoping something else would get a couple votes.
I still have never grown a white widow lol. Maybe I’ll just gift the seed to my dad next spring and he can try growing an auto at the farm since his photos never finish.

As for your question, I would read my DLI thread (first post is all you really need to read) so you can understand lighting much better and measure your own lighting.

Toss it a like if it helps.

Airflow to your roots is my understanding

I’ve used nothing but fabric pots and love the ease of them and how simple it is to tie down your plant for LST

When roots come in contact with air they prune them selves and create smaller feeler roots off of that larger shoot. In plastic pots when the roots hit the edge they continue growing searching for water eventually wrapping around the pot choking them selves out.

From my understanding as well these feeler roots help more with flowering than the main roots. But I’m still learning and on my first grow I’m sure nicky or someone else may have the more scientific answer.
