Are these ready?

Hi there,
Opinion- are these ready to harvest? They are 6 weeks into flowering.
I also took shots of the lower ones- I assume you can’t partiallly harvest? Ie for the ones on the bottom… my hunch is not…

Six weeks is kinda short for flowering. It’s possible pistils have turned due to outside influence like high P, K levels. Often plants will have another round of calyx growth before harvest. Not seeing late growth foxtails so I’m thinking you have some more bulking to do.

Can’t judge from pistils. Need close-ups of trichomes to know for sure.

Yeah this strain says 6-7 weeks it’s Royal Critical- that said the pistils are 1/2 dark. I’ll try to get a close-up. Was just afraid of leaving them toooo long. Guess it can’t hurt to wait a week or two? Thanks!

Grab you a cheap magnifier or jewellers loupe from a local store or Amazon. You’ll need it. Unless you want super couch-locky bud you want to harvest when most of the trichomes are milky. The more amber you have in the trichomes, the more you want to nap after you smoke.

If you have a fairly new smart phone you could try one of the magnifier/microscope apps.

I still see some white pistols. That to me means she has a while longer. If you harvest now you will likely lose some weight. They tend to bulk up quite a bit more over the next couple of weeks.

Keep an eye on the trichomes. I wait until I see a hint of amber to harvest.

I have one- the trouble I have with it when magnifying its hard to keep steady… still learning there :slight_smile:

Yeah… I had one. I may or may not have chunked it against a concrete floor for the same reason. :smirk: Now i have to get another. :man_facepalming:

Looks like you have a while still. Looks like most of them are still clear or mostly clear.

Honestly, I’d hate to give you bad info on that. I’d say probably 2 weeks, but that’s just a guess. @DankBank22 how long did it take your girl to get from this point to where she’s at now?

That would be about right then. Leafly shows 7-9 weeks.
