Hi everyone.
Im on my first grow using random seeds and i have 2 plants in veg atm. Each one is approx 20-25cms high though both have been topped at the 5th or 6th node.
Im at the point now where im trying to determine if they are male or female. From what I’ve read you can tell once they grow callyxes at the junction of a main stem and a branch coming off it so I’ve taken close up pics of that area to see better but while they have the “callyxes” i still can’t tell either way.
Was wondering if someone with a more experienced eye than me would be able to tell or is it still too soon.

Welcome @AnotherNewbie80 to the forum. It looks female to me at this point. You’ll see some structures with pollen sacks at the nodes. You only have grow tips which is usually formation of a cola forming.

There is no clear indication of sex yet.

I agree with @dbrn32 its too early to tell the sex yet. Happy Growing

Ive studied every inch of them it seems and i cant see anything besides preflowers so guess ill just have to wait and keep looking.
Im hoping to get at least one female out of the pair so i can take cuttings from it and not have to start again germinating new seeds etc but time will tell.
