Its no where near ready grasshopper. Be patient! you have weeks to go. Dont even break out your magnifier until all of the pistils " hairs" have turned from white to red or orange or yellow.

Too many white hairs. It takes 8 to 10 weeks from 1st sign of pistils to flower. I feel you have 4 to 5 weeks left. It will have way more color than white like this.

That weed is suppose to be :fire:, dont pick early. Good luck to you.

When to Harvest
The Handy Dandy harvest chart for reference.

Many weeks to go. This one is on day 80, and probably has at least a week, maybe more.

Thanks for posting the chart, a great guide, especially for first time growers like me!

One must avoid the urge to pick too early. This is actually more true outdoor than indoor because with outdoor grows you often start getting bud rot towards the end which can cause panic. Also unless it is a short flower time strain or an auto then you may even get a frost or two before the plant is finished. So outdoors this consideration is especially difficult and sometimes you do need to pick a little early to avoid losing your whole crop. My rule of thumb is don’t pick early unless you will lose more than half the crop without doing so and even then wait it out as long as you can.

Indoors you have enough control over the environment which usually makes harvesting early less of a consideration. If you are not worried about losing the crop by letting her finish then DO NOT harvest early.

You would think you are only losing yield by harvesting premature bud. The buds smell good and are sticky. But the psychoactive effects are significantly lower and also less desirable, the high is shorter and less comfortable. So the effects on the high are actually a bigger problem than losing yield.

Some people do prefer bud that is harvested a little early, particularly if you don’t like couch lock, which comes more with the amber trichomes. But there is a difference between early and premature.

Im growin apple fritter clones outdoors first time ever, their in the 4th week of flowering id say give or take. Smell amazing, sticky as hell.. but i dont wanna mess up and harvest early, tell me what you think.
