First time grower heading for harvest in the next week. Anyone have recommendations on which size bags would be most handy? I’m guess a bunch of 1/2 & 1oz and a few 1/4lb bags just in case I’m very fortunate (or lazy…). I’m only growing two ladies and they’re not monsters like some can manage, check out my grow thread if you’re interested.
Did a test cart and it looks like shipping will cost more than the goods…
Anyone happen to have a current promo code? (Looks like FAMILY & OzSpec10 are already defunct )
If you sign up for their mailing list (or an account maybe?) they send you a coupon in your email.
I went with a bunch of 1/8ths and 1/4s because I’m not that optimistic about my first harvest. I grabbed maybe 2 of each of the other sizes just to see what they look like.
When I first ordered 25 1oz bags, figuring if it didnt work I would not lose ad much as if all in one bag. It worked out well as after cure they are easy to just smoke out of the single 1oz bags.
This is a huge help. My first order just arrived today. Once I get that General MM1E from Amazon I’ll be able to double check what I got on first grow in jars and if they’re ok I’ll bag them all up.
I’ve got no idea what I’m gonna get pull from this outdoor grow. I thank you all for the hours of labor you saved me and of course the buds god willing.
Is it even necessary to put a hydrometer into the grove bag?
I have about 5 Oz in a half pound bag that was right around 65 according to my lid meters but they are a few digits higher than the Grovee I use for my drying box …
Just put entire harvest into a grove bag around 5 hours ago
You really should know where you stand humidity-wise inside the bag to start. After all the time you spent growing, feeding, trimming, etc….this is too important not to monitor. Look at it like….better safe than sorry.
Me too, I use the WiFi Govees in each 1/4lb Grove bag…I had a bunch of them from my cigar storage. Sure made me feel a whole lot better knowing I wasn’t f’ing them up since this was my first time using the bags. I found the bud was more smokable, sooner, using the bags.
