Just wondering if anyone uses a pump like this or similar. With the pressure to push the water.
For auto watering or hydro. Trying to get my water to flow faster so it does not take so long. I have an 800 gallon per hour now and 1 line out of 4 does not flow at same rate as the rest. Also seems to clog at different times on different lines all the time. All lines are the same length. Was thinking maybe some pressure might help even things out. Was also thinking a valve at pump exit to adjust pressure to what is needed for even flow. Also a valve on individual hoses to slow down flow and even out so it does not feed to fast. At present 3/8 hose to manifold to 1/4 inch feed lines. Thinking about changing to 3/8 feed lines.
Mainly want to know if anyone has use similar pressure pump with success.
Fogot the link.

I use a similar pump with a different brand. I have been using it to transfer water to my plants for five years. I constructed a wand with a valve on the end of a 12 foot hose.
I place the wand in the reservoir and turn the pump on to mix nutrients as the pump recirculates the water in the reservoir.
It has been the perfect solution for me.
This is what I have:
That is what I’m doing with my 800 gph impeller pump now. Still not best flow. Keeps getting nute build up on impeller and slowing down. Was thinking maybe diaphragm pump would not do that. Has that been your experience
When I used FF Trio nutrients, I would clean the strainer at the end of each grow. Took about 10 minutes. Using dry nutrients, I find very little to clean out. I did dis-assemble the pump and clean it up about a year ago, after four years of operation, three of them with FF Trio.
@merlin44 I also use 2 of the 800 gph impeller pumps in this fountain that I built. 50 gallon water trough with a 5 gallon pitcher fountain on top. Keep goldfish in it and water my plant outside with the diaphragm pump fed from bottom of fountain. The impeller pumps do the same when algae slime gets built up on impeller. Diaphragm pump works great for getting water out. Can’t run one of those constant though think it would burn up. That is what set me on this path. Would only run every couple days.
Good to know I’m going to give it a shot.
Did you drill bottom of res or just drop input hose in bottom. I couldn’t tell from pictures.
I drilled a hole for the reservoir fill line and float valve. The suction line for the pump is connected to a suction plenum on the bottom of the reservoir. The suction line is just routed over the edge of the reservoir as you guessed. No need to have another possible leak point since it does not matter how it looks.
Will it self start from dry. I have my fountain drilled in bottom with I guess it would be called a bulkhead. If I can get away with not doing that to the res that would be great. Second the looks don’t matter. When I lived out in the country people would stair when they drove by and seen the 16x16 tarp in the front yard with a picnic table setting on it. Wife ask for a patio.
I believe what you are asking me is “Is the diaphram pump self-priming?”. Yes it is. My suction hose is about six feet long and it primes in just a couple of seconds of run time on the pump.
Also, it might be interesting to know that running a diaphram pump dry won’t harm it. I would not recommend running it for hours dry but a few minutes will not hurt anything.
Nice thank you. Didn’t realize that. This is going to make this so much easier
