Any thoughts; MCT oil

Could I use organic coconut oil rather than MCT oil when infusing? Any benefits either way? happy infusing :bat: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :bat:

Coconut oil gets solid at temps below 77ish. MCT will stay liquid. IMO they’re both healthy oils.

MCT oil is good for making capsules. Coconut oil is better to cook with from my experience.

Agree here.
It infuses great and works well with whatever recipe I want to use.
If the oil needs to be in solid form (like butter or shortening) to work then its just a matter of a short time in the fridge. Cookies have a better texture if the oil is not liquid when making the dough. Plus the oil stays in the cookie better and not leeched into the parchment.

I’m infusing some Blueberry CBD butter and having a cold one and a full vape @Spiney_norman. Can’t beat that.

Happy infusing everyone. It makes my life much better in the pain department @thecount13

Whatever oil you use, dont forget the lecethin!

What does lecithin actually do or help with the oil?

It increases the amount of thc that fat cells (oil) can take in as well as makes the thc more readily available for process inside the body.

Yah i add always to help it mix in properly and to help with a even mix and long shelf life

In other words…it hits you faster and harder than without lecithin. It’s dangerous if you have a heart condition @thecount13. Other than that, it’s better with than without in oils and butter.
