Alternate full strength nutes with plain water? or use diluted nutes every time?

I’m a fairly new grower, currently on my 3rd grow. I’ve been using the Jack’s 321 nutes and following their feeding schedule, which says to aim for a 2.4 target EC value. My soil is 70% FF Happy Frog, 20% perlite, 10% vermiculite.

Is it better to feed at the full strength recommended on the Jack’s feeding schedule, then use plain water (ph adjusted, of course) on non-feeding days to keep EC close to 2.4?

Or is it better to use a diluted nute mixture each time I water to keep EC at 2.4?

I run Jack’s full strength in coco with Autopots and never had a need to alternate with plain water or dilute strength. If top feeding you might monitor runoff TDS and when it hits 1,000 ppm feed. If above say 1,500 ppm then water.

I use jacks and have run upwards of 1500ppm in flower. Jacks is gentle enough that if you do experience buildup or nute overload, you can run a couple gallons of plain pH’ed or distilled water. Shoot, I’ve flushed with diluted jacks
