So I got feminized seeds from ILGM. The end result was all the girls have seeds. I grew 4 plants. All female all budded great. So here’s my question. Will all these seeds be females? And did I create 3 different strains(since one obviously pollinated the others)? Thanks for the input!!
They will be regular seeds with a 50/50 chance of being female.
It depends on the actual way they got pollinated. If it is due to some hidden “nanners” they will be (near) clones of the parent or possible cross from nearby plant. If it was full blown pollen sacs, it could be 50/50 especially if it is from outside source (pollen can travel for miles on the wind and get indoors too). I have been growing seeds from autos that were FULL of seeds and so far have been auto, female and same phenome/genome.
This is the way… and technically I’d have created 2 new strains and on ‘selfed back cross’ if it’s due to one pollinating the whole crew. One way to tell though… drop those seeds!
Be Uber careful however. Whatever forced her to pollenize, she will be genetically predisposed to do it again. So hopefully whatever the issue (environmental, over water/feeding, too much light, light after dark) is fixed. Or it will happen again
Great info fellas!! This was an inside grow with no other cross contamination even possible as we live pretty remote.
