Ak47 autoflowering

I got home from work yesterday and went into my grow room which had been shut all day and immediately smelled a slight skunkiness from my now 12 day old AK-47 seedlings. Is this normal for those? I’m not complaining mind you and the plants seem to be very healthy but I just wonder as I got down with my face right to the plant and sure enough just wonder how it’s going to be when they’re flowering, lol

Hey @Pecan , Welcome to the forum.
Everything on the plant has that smell. I lightly rub the stems sometimes when they get older and the smell is great. It gets stronger though in flower.
Autos can start flowering from 3 weeks on. 4 or 5 is average. Post some pics when you get a chance. We all love to follow along on grows.
I dont recommend rubbing or touching the seedlings. Wait till they get older and thicker.

Good stuff from @Spiney_norman. Post some pics. I’ve grown 3 AK47s, on the 3rd now and have learned a few things about this specific strain compared to the others I’ve grown with them side by side. I’m my limited AK experience their easy to Foxtail, don’t like nutrients above 850 PPMs and lighting above a DLI of 50. I just dialed mine down to 40 and running nutrients at 800 PPMs :love_you_gesture:

Possibly, but new leaves can look like pistils when they are very young.
Even if they are the plant can get much larger.

A closer look leads me to think the former than the latter. I never knew growing these could be exciting, but, there it is. Thanks!
