Airy Buds? OG Kush Autoflower

No doubt you’ve seen this question a thousand times. My buds aren’t pretty. They seem airy. The weed shops sell tight nugs, my stuff looks like shake. If I were to cut off all the extra leaves, there’d be nothing left.

Take a look and tell me what you think?

(I don’t smoke, haven’t bought a bag of weed since it was 40 dollars an oz., so I can’t remember what it looked like back then.)

Loose buds are a symptom of poor lighting and/or nutrient problems.

I’m using the Vivosun vs2000 in a 4x4 tent.

Should be adequate to flower 1 plant.

There were 3. This could be it?

3 Plants? The VS2000 is adequate for only 1 plant. 200 watts per plant is a good rule of thumb.

Hard to tell at this point, but maybe harvested a little early? And yes lighting.

You want 35 to 40 watt per sq foot. No x amount per plant. 1 plant could need 600w if scrogged. Autoflowers are known for a looser bud then a photoperiod fyi.

I am going to buy a second vs2000 and daisy chain them for my next grow.

A typical canopy for the average hobby grower is 2 to 3 feet by 2 to 3 feet per plant, therefore the 200w rule of thumb. It all works out in the end. Both methods are equally valid when used for realistic plant sizes.

Agreed. But you know what they say by assumption. 35 to 40 watt per sq ft, can not be messed up.
